The saddest sight you will see in British Farming.
Swaying eerily in the breeze, 52 pairs of wellies stand abandoned on the Tarmac at Pembrokeshire showground.
Each pair represents a farmer who has taken his or her own life in the last 12mths

A week ago our daughter went for a run She was hit by a vehicle. In HSC with head injuries. Her mother hardly left her all week. Yesterday friends and neighbours showed up and combined 500 ac of soybeans in 4.5 hrs. Tomorrow I get to bring her home I am overwhelmed #Thanksgiving
Happily, U-Ropa & the rest of the herd passed their #bTB test again today 👏
Unhappily, in the last year 44,131 cattle in 🏴 & 🏴 just like U-Ropa weren’t so lucky & were compulsorily slaughtered.
This is a continuing national disgrace.
Some more fantastic local produce from @bisonqueen . The #Saxondale_asparagus could well be the star of the show in this first class lineup. South Nottinghamshire’s finest. The spelt sourdough is mine! #freshoutoftheoven @vinefarmdairy cream is v addictive!
BBC News - Captain Tom: RAF flypast in veteran's honour. It's enough to give you goose bumps and it's certainly raised my spirits. https://t.co/nz1hguvWa0
@bisonqueen Thanks so much for our food order. It was all packed away so quickly that no photo today but last week’s was so impressive it is worth posting. #FoodHeroes#FeedTheNation What you are doing to support our local farmers and suppliers is to be 👏👏👏
BBC News - Coronavirus: Flour mills working 'round the clock' to meet demand Great to see our friends at NABIM explaining why flour is in shortage on our shelves. As with many of these issues, it is not a shortage but a case of #thewrongsizebag#FoodHeroes

British farmers are working to keep the nation fed day in, day out. We’ve been hearing the concerns from our members about issues across the supply chain and we’re in regular contact with Government, ensuring your voice is heard where it matters.

Whilst food isn't considered to be a source or transmission route for COVID-19. It’s vital to follow the 4 key food safety steps—cooking, cleaning, chilling and preventing cross-contamination – to reduce the risks of all foodborne illness. More here: https://t.co/ruGZxCjh3x

For the avoidance of doubt, this idea is absolute nonsense.
Food is a national security issue, and farming is vital to maintain our beautiful countryside and enhance our environment.
Consumers want local, high standard, high welfare food.
That’s what British farmers give us.
