It's here! Friends, https://t.co/5S1tlRdYoX on-chain is live (ish).
With full District and Parcel functionality!
Technically it's still in the mempool, and it's going to take a long time to fully inscribe at 0.1s/vb, but that's okay, in the meantime I just set the domain to redirect to the https://t.co/KzYX9GEYxM preview source! 😉
I wanted to make a point to spend as little as possible (in this case, $2.87) as a one-time fee on a website that was costing hundreds per month to host, and with this workaround, you can spend as little as you want AND still point to it with your domain name before it's even mined. Cheap and instant.
I'll update the redirect to https://t.co/xGAIo4d1pe when the block clears, but that's just semantics. Right now you can enjoy https://t.co/5S1tlRdYoX!
For the on-chain version I removed all communication features for now.

The upcoming Bitmap Spring Direct will bring you up to speed with everything happening on Bitmap. This is the first draft intro video.
If you want me to include something, post it below!
It was a great learning experience working with Simplicity to help recreate a native Bitcoin ICO model that lets us interact with BTC, BRC20, and Runes.
Should we take this to mainnet?
Todays dev update.
My ord node is close to being ready.
On it I will be building:
- Bitmap Districts Index
- Bitmap Parcels Index
- Toshi Size Index (total sats exchanged)
- Signal Index
The Signal Index will be different from the Termina Module (which will be updated with fixes shortly) in that it will be realtime, and power my Signal platform.
It will be quite difficult to make Signal fun or really useful in any way until we have realtime data, but it was very important I built the Termina Module so that we don't have a centralized point of failure, and data can always be checked.
I'm excited to build this index-based Signal front-end.
Anybody who wants to make use of the opportunity to get ahead whilst visibility is low would go and nominate themselves for as many Hoods as possible.
And for those who "read more" and reached the bottom of this post, here's something extra exclusive... I am working on a video series for YouTube called Bitmap Direct, to provide seasonal updates for the Bitmap ecosystem and community, including exclusive announcements from me and key developers. If you want to be early, go subscribe at https://t.co/E2KzV5HJEX.

Today, we are excited to announce a new Open Source tool – The Bitmap Renderer
With Magic Eden going down, we needed a new source of truth for Bitmap block transaction images.
We decided to build it and Open Source it for the community.
Access the tool and help us build at:
https://t.co/RdpTsTWaC4
This one we'll take the blame for.
We are working on reducing our lowest list price so that users can get inscriptions on OW for the same price they can get it on ME.
This is more important now than ever.
I used to think Bitmap 🟧 was the metaverse 🤣until I realised it’s the multiverse.
Bitmap isn’t something that needs to be built, it is the build.
The scaffolding is done, the terrain is mapped, the structure is complete.
It’s not a metaverse, it’s the layer underneath them all.
👉It’s the network.
👉The raw logic.
👉The shared language.
👉A baked protocol of digital ground, no more speculation, no more waiting.
Now, it’s about what gets built on top.
From here, platforms will rise, metaverses(plural) built on-top of Bitmap, not within it.
Each one offering its own culture, rules, aesthetics, and mechanics, but all of them rooted in the same soil.
These platforms will be where bitmap holders plug in their districts and parcels, where their Bitmap becomes active, functional, expressive.
Platforms are universal, they must cater to all Bitmap holders, regardless of who they are or what they believe in. But platforms alone aren’t enough.
We also need applications, tools. Bitmap Applications (BAPPs) that let people actually do things.
Create, collaborate, display, tokenise, interact, experiment.
Just like shovels and pickaxes in a gold rush, these tools won’t be for everyone, but the right ones will unlock new worlds for those who use them.
A musician might need a sound staging app. An architect might want a parcel scanner or layout visualiser.
A builder might need a minting engine or media drop system.
Not everyone will use the same stack and that’s the point.
Be the Bitmap 🫡🟧9⃣
Did you know, music on https://t.co/BnDWbU9kHy is generated?
Every new block on Bitcoin is a new track!
If you listen long enough, you'll hear this.
It also is affected by the time of day, so you'll hear upbeat music during the day, and chill music at night!

Yo, been deep in this crypto collectibles game since the CryptoPunks launched in 2017. Those pixel punks started as a quirky experiment and ended up rewriting what digital ownership could mean. Saw the whole arc: early floors in pennies, the 2018 crash where everything got called worthless, the slow rebuild, then the 2021 explosion where real money started flowing in. Nine years of riding waves, spotting patterns, getting wrecked, and stacking wins. The cycles don't lie. They rhyme hard.
Right now, February 21, 2026, Bitcoin's hovering around 68k after dipping into the 60s recently. Choppy as hell with fear in the air, post election pump faded, some quantum noise and miner stuff rattling nerves. Market's consolidating hard, but under the surface the setup feels exactly like those early NFT days firing up again. This time it's Bitcoin Ordinals carrying the momentum. The real chain, immutable, no sidechain games.
Inscriptions keep embedding art, identity, property straight onto sats. And Bitmap? That's the one quietly building real legs right now.
Bitmap turns Bitcoin blocks into virtual land. Coordinates on the most secure ledger out there. Recent moves are telling: one holder just swept 16 Bitmaps in a single transaction, rare Patoshi era ones getting flexed, sales volume ticking up over the last 30 days while the broader market sleeps. Stealth accumulation vibes strong. People are shipping tools like rebuilt https://t.co/RG9Hvkp8Ib maps with vector views, live streaming upgrades, 3D libraries full of models ready for on chain builds, even AI agent coordination experiments and passive income ideas from virtual rents or businesses on your block. It's early Decentraland Sandbox land grab energy, but permanent, no hosting bullshit, pure Bitcoin scarcity.
The scene's holding culture strong despite the dip. Posts calling it the Bitcoin Renaissance, art text identity migrating on chain, civilization level shift. Ordinals turned Bitcoin into time. Bitmap turns it into space. Even with old debates around proposals like BIP 110 trying to curb things (support still tiny), the permissionless spirit keeps winning.
Broader cycle's rhyming too. Post 2024 halving patterns point to mid to late 2026 ignition. Some projections still eyeing 100k plus rebounds if liquidity flows back. Ordinals ride that wave hardest as native innovation. When BTC rips, the creative frontier catches fire.
This upcoming run won't mint a million new millionaires like memecoin seasons. It's selective, conviction based. But the few who spot the pattern early, stack inscriptions, claim Bitmaps while they're still under the radar? Life changing wealth incoming. Seen it with those pixel punks. Same setup here.
I don't make the rules. Just calling it from experience since day one. Bitmap's got real traction, devs keep dropping heat, Bitcoin's canvas keeps expanding. If you've got the stomach for the volatility and the eyes to see it... position accordingly. 🟧🚀
Been through worse winters. This feels like spring.

Did you know you can get pre blockout floor bitmaps for $5? Well now you do!
I always tell friends to buy at least $100 worth and lock them away for a few years
Could go to 0 or 100x. Imo it’s more likely they go up than to 0 so worth the risk
