@caprioleio Nah, unconcerning. The bitcoin network doesn’t need pubcos. Much of the security they add is false because it’s vulnerable hashrate. The AI pivot is a reminder that they have a feduciary duty unrelated to the network. Only the most resilient hashrate survives.
@nytimes “A year of digging”? Any LLM could have cobbled this together in 8 seconds…but would have also included the reasons he’s definitely not Satoshi. This is irresponsible journalism @JohnCarreyrou & @nytimes. You put this man in physical danger, whether or not he’s Satoshi. Shame.
The 2026 Heatpunk Summit tops the list of best conferences I’ve attended. Had a blast on the slopes of Keystone and was honoured to share the stage (and hashtub) with some pioneers in this space - @Colin_Sully, @khalliburton, and @csartoshi - who have all found ways to commercialize rejected heat from bitcoin mining at scale. @MintGreenHQ, @sazmining, and @MARA offer a clean electric boiler alternative that generates its own parallel revenue stream in the form of the soundest and fairest money ever devised. Think that’s a faulty premise? Check out this opening talk by @HRF & @ACF_Int’s @AnyaChekhovich. Much appreciation to @tronsington, @tylerkstevens, and all the other @HashHeatpunks at @SpaceDenver involved in putting on this disruptive, engaging, and inspiring event. #therealminingdisrupt And special thanks to our uber driver jeffonthesunnyside for demonstrating yet another novel example of fiat's intrinsic utility. He was orange pilled by @WilfredAllyn so look out for him.
@sminston_with Fantastic work as always. The only a correction I’d like to put forward is your laser eyes are lazy eyes as they don’t follow the conventions of perspective 🙃
@Colin_Sully@PeonyLaneWine@SpaceDenver I forgot to stash my bottle in my snowboard bag when I packed at 3 AM and they tried to take it from me going through security…so I had to go all the way back to start and pay to check another bag. Turned into a pricey bottle of wine!
Considering bitcoin’s value over time grows with the square of network size, this is brilliant. Tap into, and generate, a whole new user base that is smart enough to immediately get it without listening to a thousand hours of podcasts. What's the tipping point where they adopt it en masse like the borg? And if they did adopt it to exchange and store value independent of their human handlers, does that become a permanent one-way siphon for sats?
NEWS: U.S. insurer Lemonade has announced that it will offer a 50% rate cut for drivers of @Tesla vehicles when FSD is steering because it had data showing it reduced accidents.
“A car that sees 360 degrees, never gets drowsy, and reacts in milliseconds can’t be compared to a human. Beyond the product announcement today, we’re also announcing our commitment to the Tesla community – the safer FSD software becomes, the more our prices will drop,” said Shai Wininger, co-founder and president at Lemonade.
