Fusion Friday:
We've made it freedom warriors, another successful week of relentless rbuilding and here we are: Happy Friday π₯³ It's time to roll up the sleeves and join in on the privacy cause. That's right, it's time to get fusing! βοΈπ
Happy Fusion Friday! π
Privacy isn't just a feature - it's a core human right we must actively protect. In a world of increasing surveillance, defending it ensures true financial freedom for ourselves and future generations. That's why tools like CashFusion are so powerful: they deliver top-tier privacy for Bitcoin Cash, letting us transact without fear of tracking, censorship, or interference from bad actors.
Enter CashFusion: The simple way to obfuscate your coins for unprecedented privacy working in wallets such as @stack_wallet and @electroncash. Here's how to use CashFusion in four simple steps using the Electron Cash wallet available on PC/Mac/Android:
1οΈβ£ Download and install Electron Cash from the official site: https://t.co/vPzDkSzbS0 (available for PC, Mac, and Android).
2οΈβ£ Open the app and load your wallet with some BCH
3οΈβ£ Toggle the CashFusion button (bottom right icon) to enable it.
4οΈβ£ Let it run in the background - the privacy magic happens automatically as fusions complete over time.
Every time you fuse, you're not only shielding your own coins with unbreakable anonymity π you're also increasing overall fusion liquidity to help the whole community. That tiny fee? It directly bolsters the BCH security budget, making the network even stronger. Triple win! π πͺ

ParyonUSD just published their case for 1-minute blocks on Bitcoin Cash.
Redemptions become more predictable and fairer for borrowers, while the overall economic and security model stays intact.
ParyonUSD has already adapted its contracts and is testing on chipnet.
This is practical infrastructure progress, not theory.
Read the full write-up below.
What's your take on 1-minute blocks on Bitcoin Cash?
We've written a new blogpost:
Why We Support 1-Minute Blocks
ParyonUSD supports the CHIP to activate 1-Minute Blocks on Bitcoin Cash. We've written before that faster blocks is likely the biggest win for DeFi on BCH

Paolo on Faster Blocks vs. what actually matters for BCH:
β’ Perfect the zero-conf experience (extend DSProof + better risk tools)
β’ Strengthen privacy & fungibility for CashTokens
β’ Build merchant infrastructure that doesnβt require technical knowledge
β’ Remember the goal is peer-to-peer electronic cash, not more protocol metrics
What are your thoughts?
π’ Bitcoin Cash already has instant payments. So why are we obsessing over faster blocks?
What if the real breakthroughs are better 0-conf security, privacy, and merchant adoption? Are we solving the wrong problem?
My take on BCH's future. https://t.co/LU97R5TTgj
BCH + Nostr isnβt a slogan.
Itβs peer-to-peer money + an open internet with no permission needed.
Get on Nostr.
Follow the builders. Share the content.
Be part of it. π± https://t.co/tgNu0vKQ9S
π’ BCH + Nostr = freedom in money and communication.
A more open internet. Peer-to-peer money. No permission needed.
Get on Nostr, follow BCH builders, share BCH content, and help grow the community.
Donβt just watch the movement. Be part of it. π±

CME launched the first CFTC-regulated Bitcoin Cash futures on Monday.
Standard and micro contracts, cash-settled against a regulated benchmark. Day-one volume was modest, but the listing puts BCH on a path that other assets have used toward broader institutional access.
Full breakdown from BCH-1
Bitcoin Cash has had futures markets since November 2017, four months after the chain split.
What it did not have until Monday was one that an American pension fund is allowed to use.
Before that, the short version. BitMEX listed a BCH/BTC futures contract on 14 November 2017 that settled in bitcoin. Binance launched a BCH/USDT perpetual in December 2019. BitMEX followed with a quanto perpetual in June 2020.
Today there are dozens of venues listing BCH perpetuals, and the CoinDesk ticker page will show you a dozen prices within a second of each other.
All of those share a feature. They are offshore, they are margined in crypto, and no US regulator supervises them.
That is the gap Monday closed.
WHAT A FUTURES CONTRACT ACTUALLY IS
A futures contract is an agreement about the price of something at a later date. You do not have to own the thing. If you want exposure to Bitcoin Cash without buying coins, storing them, or trusting an exchange to hold them, a futures contract gives you that exposure.
These contracts are cash-settled. No coins move. At the end, one side pays the other in dollars, based on a published price. The Bitcoin Cash network never knows the trade happened.
Each contract has a fixed size. The standard one covers 250 BCH. The micro covers 25 BCH, a tenth as much, for traders who want a smaller position.
WHY THIS EXCHANGE IS DIFFERENT
CME is a CFTC-regulated exchange, which means the contracts sit inside American derivatives law: clearing, position limits, reporting, and a regulator with authority over the market.
To list there, an asset needs a settlement price that survives regulatory scrutiny. Bitcoin Cash has had one since April 2022, a benchmark calculated daily by fixed rules from trades on regulated exchanges, registered under UK benchmark rules.
That benchmark is why the contract exists. The benchmark is also why the contract matters beyond trading: it is the price a fund can settle against without asking anyone's opinion.
WHAT HAPPENED ON DAY ONE
The first session was Monday 19 October. CME published the numbers the next morning.
The standard contract traded five contracts. All five were block trades, meaning two parties negotiated privately and then reported the trade to the exchange, which guarantees it, rather than matching on the public order book. Nothing traded electronically. Five is the smallest block trade the rules allow.
The micro contract traded 160 contracts, all of it on the electronic order book. Forty were still open when the session ended.
Add it up: 5,250 BCH changed hands, about $1.46 million at the time, and 2,250 BCH of positions were still standing at the close.
WHAT THOSE NUMBERS SAY
The activity was in the small contract, not the large one. That means smaller participants are using it, not only the giant funds that get the headlines. For a first day, that is the better of the two signs.
Three quarters of the trading went in and out within the session. 160 contracts traded, 40 stayed open. That is what market makers do when they provide liquidity.
And the scale. CME's crypto business averages more than 242,000 contracts a day this year. Bitcoin Cash did 165. A first day tests whether the machinery works. We are still early days.
THE SIX THINGS AN INSTITUTION CHECKS
When a pension fund or a corporate treasurer looks at an asset, it runs a checklist. Bitcoin Cash now passes five of six.
1. A regulated place to trade. Yes, since Monday.
2. A trustworthy price to settle against. Yes, a benchmark registered under UK rules and published daily since 2022.
3. Somewhere safe to store the coins. Yes. Coinbase Custody Trust, a New York-chartered fiduciary, already holds BCH for institutional products.
4. A product you can buy in an ordinary brokerage account. Partly. The 21Shares Bitcoin Cash ETP has traded in Europe since 2019. There is no US version yet.
5. A supply you can verify. Yes. Fixed at 21 million, with halvings on a schedule anyone can check.
6. A US spot fund. Not yet. Grayscale has filed to convert its trust into an NYSE Arca ETF, but the filing is not approved.
WHY THE SIXTH ONE HAS A DATE
In September 2025 the SEC approved rules that let a commodity fund list without its own product-by-product approval. Two things have to be true. The asset must have had a regulated futures contract trading for at least six months, and the listing exchange must have a surveillance agreement with that futures market. The first condition started its clock on Monday, which points at roughly April 2027.
It is not automatic. The fund still needs its registration declared effective, and a futures listing is not an approval of any spot fund.
WHAT THIS MEANS
Bitcoin Cash did not become an institutional asset on Monday. It already was, but it's moving up the value chain, slowly but surely.
