You're editing when you should be verifying.
Editing your AI's output is the same model second-guessing itself. It wrote the mistake. It's the last thing that'll catch it.
That's why the obvious defects survive the review and ship to your client under your name.
The fix isn't a better editor. It's a separate model that only checks — verifies the text, never writes it. Outside-in.
Verify, don't rewrite.
You followed this account for trading content. Here is the honest version of why it's pivoting.
Backtesting taught me a standing rule: a strategy's self-reported edge counts for nothing until data it never saw confirms it. The backtest grades its own homework, so you walk it forward and let out-of-sample results give the verdict.
AI tooling has the same bug. LLM-as-a-judge: the model that wrote the answer gets asked whether it's any good. It says yes — confidently, and often wrong — and run the check twice and you can get two different answers.
So I'm applying the same discipline to a new object. I built an outside-in gate: a separate model checks text it did not write. Fail-closed — unknown is a fail, never a silent pass.
If you ship AI work under your own name: DM me one output you've already delivered. You get a defect report back. No call.
