It never ceases to amaze me how simplicity always wins in all domains.
Every new idea I see in crypto is a mid curve attempt at building some highly complicated infra/marginally improved analytics/AMM platform, meanwhile hamster racing and telegram bots find pmf effortlessly.
Crypto has many genres ridiculed by normies such as play-to-earn, proof-of-work, participate/stake-to-earn, hyper gambilization, NFTs, Tokenization access etc that answer a lot of the problems of the dead internet theory.
It's just a decade ahead of the curve
Yesterday me and my friends talked about the Dead Internet Theory
If nobody asks questions anymore on Stack Overflow, and sites like Reddit are now taken over by AI reply bots to promote brands, as well as AI reply bots on here, there is no real content anymore on the internet
And then there is no fresh training data anymore
I thought about something like, how would you find out the best outdoor action camera? Before I would search :
site:https://t.co/hzXOs1G2mg best outdoor action camera
But now I just ask my AI which is the best
The problem is if nobody creates new content anymore and just asks their AI every question, the AI has nothing to train on anymore
And then I thought so what will happen? Will you get companies with giant warehouses that just buy stuff and review it with manually or with humanoid robots? Will you get humanoid robots backpacking in South East Asia to get life experience as training data? Or will we all train it by giving it access to our AI chats and user data?
I don't know but I think it's likely the web will dead in the future and AI companies will have to find training data elsewhere

The reason why so many posts insisting Β£100k barely covers enough in the UK.. is because after tax, it's ~Β£5.7k a month.
1. Those salaries usually cluster in high-cost areas where mortgages still run Β£2k+
2. If you want a family, you then pay insane nursery fees and the childcare cliff removes the free hours the moment you cross that 100k threshold.
3. Utility bills, and food eat up a good chunk of the rest of it leaving you nothing to grow, or explore with.
4. People just refuse to live forever like 18-year-olds sharing a flat and eating pasta every night.
@Puncher522 I agree that saylor is a systemic risk to Bitcoin but you are wrong on BIP110 being anything good for Bitcoin. Psyopβd into believing a narrative that doesnβt exist
Because that's paid through stamp duty. Don't treat council tax as a wealth tax when it's a service charge. You both get the same bin collections, the same social care, the same street lights..
Part of the reason the UK is in this mess is because of idiots like you comments on an economy you have no understanding on.
It's nuanced.
Some would argue you've paid Stamp Duty twice. You've had to worry about maintenance, you're effectively taxed every time you buy again, and your deposit is tied up elsewhere whilst you generally sit still and don't move.
Lots of freedom to renting and I think it'll become more attractive over time with government policy (not that I am).
