Claude Code automatically adds itself to the commit metadata "Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus <[email protected]>".
I strongly disagree with crediting Claude as a commit co-author. It is a tool I'm paying for, not a copyright holder, not an author. We don't credit Visual Studio.
Typical coding day with Claude (Opus 4.8)
- explain to Claude the task (5 minutes)
- Claude implements task (10 minutes)
me: "Why is this necessary?"
Claude: "You're right to push back! I over-engineered this!"
- Repeat x87 times (13 hours)
@JackEllis I will never forget the day someone told me “you’re using varchar(n) huh, while you’re at it, why don’t you create a few store procedures for CRUD and expose the database directly to the client. Maybe expose those SP as XML web services” I was like 🤯😂😂
@jorandirkgreef@guilleiguaran@c4milo@ziglang@andville_ If you have a chance, can you share a link to a piece of code that uses such patterns? I’m interested and don’t know much of the ecosystem to even know where to look.
@guilleiguaran@c4milo@ziglang@andville_ Keep us posted, last time I checked Zig was cool and beautiful until you need additional data in a custom error https://t.co/UIFFc8jyZ8

"It's that easy, landing page, payment link, validation, first revenue in 24h"

"Do the same, zero reach, $0 revenue, go back to fulltime job"
Please, don't say it's easy, if you have 200k followers
@AmazonHelp Your delivery agents are marking addresses as “freight forwarder”, reporting “Delivered to safe place” and generating a fake “international shipping code” leaving them with the ability to steal my package. What are you going to do about this?
