Seriously, though. Staking is like a fundamental part of what makes financial systems work and should be a primary mechanism in which crypto systems are judged. But so far:

$BTC - None
$ETH - 2.29% on Coinbase, 3-4% if you stake directly
$SOL ~7%
$ELGD ~7%
$DOGE - None
$ADA ~3%

Banks: 3-5% Savings, 4-9% CDs

Remember that most normies do not have a gambling addiction and are just looking for competitive rates to store their money into - $XTZ handily beats all coins and all banks with a whopping 16-17% (7-8% for liquid delegation, which is similar to a checking account). And you don't have to pray to the meme gods for it to moon at some random time - it's consistent, predictable, reliable income.

Kind of the issue is that if you go to Coinbase or any of the other exchanges, they are bringing down the actual staking rewards down to 5-6%, so it won't make the other coins look bad. So unfortunately the only way you can get your rewards properly is to delegate/stake the funds yourself.

As the newcomer in the space, crypto should be outperforming banks by large margins just to get over people's skepticism - nobody cares about politics or coin wars but they do understand what interest rates are - and the industry unfortunately is focusing on the wrong things right now because it's basically advertising itself as an unprotected, inferior version of what they can already get from a standard savings or CD account.

#Tezos is the only one in the space doing it the right way. I thought crypto people were all about the money? The money is right there, folks. 🤌
