1/ Better robot models come from better data.
That takes two things: hardware that captures it fully, and tooling that turns it into training signal.
We built the first. Today, @GroundedSI launches the second: Grounded API. Access both hardware + API ↓
The tactile add-on is actually useful.
Pairing pressure + Contact from matrix gloves + the six-cam rig fills in the gaps vision always misses on grips, so the dexterous manipulation demos should train better!!
1/ RoboCap data is getting a sense of touch 👋
We’re adding tactile sensing with @moxianmxkj MX Matrix Gloves compatibility.
Together, they provide hand contact and pressure data to visual RoboCap demos, giving researchers more context for dexterous robot learning. ↓
4/ From assembling an IKEA table to folding origami, each task calls for different grips / movements.
Six camera views and wrist tracking show the task from different perspectives, while left and right-hand maps change as contact is registered across the fingers and palms.
So cool to see the process of turning human video into robot training data happen in real time!
@GroundedSI will demo live data enrichment with RoboCap, including:
- Motion and position
- Hand tracking
- Tracking through occlusion
Excited to see it at CoRL next week!
No more waiting to see your video data become robot ready training data
@GroundedSI can turn egocentric data from RoboCap’s six cameras / dual IMUs into motion and hand tracking in real time, as it’s captured.
Try the live demo at @corl_conf booth 408!
More open-source tools for robotics builders are available than ever before. Now, we’re adding open evaluation to the mix!
With @huggingface, we’re sharing RoboColosseum’s real-world runs, including failed attempts.
Researchers: apply for a share of 10,000 free eval hours ↓
Open-source is critical for robotics AI. It means a student, a researcher or a startup can build on years of progress and contribute something the whole community can use rather than concentrating everything in a few companies building a black-box robot.
That’s why we’re building @huggingface into the platform for open-source robotics AI! Amazing to see the progress we've made in the six months and it's accelerating!
- Almost 100,000 public robotics datasets on https://t.co/QIPmkxCk57, up 48%
- Over 30,000 public robotics models, up 41%
- Microduck and Reachy mini, our open-source robots became the most popular robot of 2026 (probably ending the year with 50,000+ sold and 20,000+ shipped)
- We’re a founding partner of @RoboColosseum, evaluating robots across 140+ real-world scenes. Every run is published publicly on HF, including failures, so everyone can learn from what actually happens.
And @LeRobotHF got downloaded over 1M times and v0.7.0 just landed with new world action models, interactive robot control and remote GPU inference: https://t.co/Euoz11Ccc5!
Huge thanks to everyone making this happen 🤗🦾
The first RoboColosseum results are in.
We tested five robot models and three frontier AI agents across 124 real-world sites.
Here’s what researcher @YiruHelenWang found about what today’s models can do and where they struggle ↓
3/ Solana Breakpoint · London · Nov 15–17
We’re speaking and bringing our G1 and arms for live demos of robot evaluation and teleoperation.
See you there, @solana@SolanaEvents 👋
Teaching robots with data from the real world.
@jnthnvctr is President of @BitRobotNetwork, whose data helped train Unitree's open robotics model in September. He joins us at Breakpoint in London, 15-17 November.
1/ BitRobot is on the road this month between Austin → London.
We’re bringing robot demos, research and our ecosystem partners to the largest robot learning conference @corl_conf and @solana Breakpoint.
Here’s where to find us ↓
2/ CoRL · Austin · Nov 9–11
Find us at booth 408 for lightning talks and demos with @GroundedSI, @RoboSenseLiDAR, MX MATRIX @moxianmxkj, and @RoboColosseum, plus a keynote from our co-founder @micoolcho.
Come meet the teams building across the BitRobot ecosystem.
We’re heading to CoRL with the best of BitRobot’s ecosystem.
Visit our booth for research lightning talks, hands-on egocentric demos from our partners, and a look at new product prototypes.
@micoolcho will also be taking the stage for a keynote. See you in Austin, Nov 9–11!
