Join us at OCP this Thursday, March 7th, from 6-8pm for an exclusive book signing with Dr. Bradley Folsom! 📚✍️ Copies of his book "Roman Spectacle on the Rio Grande: Borderland Animal Fights at the Turn of the Century" will be available for purchase.
Want to know who won when a buffalo fought a bull in 1907? Check out the video below and buy the new book Roman Spectacle on the Rio Grande. https://t.co/Qmjp9jxrVP
Who would win in a fight between a grizzly bear and a lion? A buffalo and a bull? What if you threw a bear, tiger, and a bull in the same cage at the same time? These fights really happened on the Texas-Mexico border. #lions https://t.co/6yv6YPdnaR
@fakesportsbot@Tweave00 No gorilla v. kodiak fights in the historical record, but I think the bear has this one easy. A 185lb panther pretty easily took out a 312lb gorilla at the Spokane Zoo in 1949. Got to imagine a much heavier bear could do the same.
@SportsSturm Can I get Cowboy Tom’s contact info? I gave you a book a few months back about the Apache serial killer Rafael, and all evidence points him being born on Cibolo Creek Ranch. I’d like to send him a copy of the book if possible.
@tweetgrubes@MikeSirois If you guys need to fill a give up segment during the holidays, you should have me on to promote my new book about a serial killer. I can also talk conspiracies, cryptids, animal cage fights and other weird history shit.
@disasterfilm@tweetgrubes@MikeSirois Not a bad idea. That would keep me out of the studio. I get shake voice just being around Sirois, so I’d probably sound like a complete idiot with Rhyner sitting in judgement.
Looking for a last minute Christmas gift? Get that special someone a book about a guy who killed 20x more people than Dahmer. https://t.co/FPr2bkPg1Z #holidaysale
@MikeSirois Could you explain your idea for getting rid of kickers in football? As I remember it, it has the same rules except kickoffs are thrown and field goals are accomplished by throwing the ball through a ring. No punts. Team gets ball wherever it’s located after 4th down.
Do you like fun and/or serial annihilators? Then you should check out my new book about the Apache Rafael, the most prolific and ingenious killer in North American history: https://t.co/BgfNfIMyz1
@DJR1310 Enjoyed the Dahmer segment. I’m a huge P1 and a true crime enthusiast. I’ve got a book coming out next week with OU Press about the most prolific serial killer in North American history. Around 300 victims. https://t.co/qwe4QzVzxj
