@425suzanne If you compare it this way, all the benefits go to the publisher, Kickstarter hype and getting the game early and consumer pays shipping. Vs sending a minimum quantity to each region and possibly not selling every copy. Kickstarter has way less risk and takes the money early too.
@425suzanne Is this about Kickstarter shipping fees vs regular retail? Perhaps Kickstarter just isn’t a good model for those who want to keep shipping costs down? In retail, they’re shipped to a distributor in a bulk and shipping containers are cheaper. Kickstarter uses DHL and is expensive.
@ChristineS629 @elizhargrave Thanks, it’s just a bit weird for me to have to explain a harem to my kids. It’s just an awkward moment I don’t need for a board game. 😄
The IKEA Marriage Test
Before you marry someone, go to IKEA together and a buy a piece of furniture.
Bring it home and build it.
If you can successfully navigate that entire process without wanting to kill each other, you’re ready to get married.
@ithayla People like dumb things. Like people go to the casino even though the house has better odds. I think artists making money from this is mostly fine. Most of the ppl buying NFTs aren’t duped into doing it. You can buy an NFT or a luxury yacht for $69m.
@gamesbymanuel Yeah there’s a ton of stuff to do. Great post btw. As a fan of the series it was a huge leap from the prev entries. Not from a content point of view but it did a great job delivering a compelling narrative and reducing bloat.
@MeepleU@CranioCreations https://t.co/L1A7dHLBgY Here's one for tarrant if he likes slides puzzles. It's nothing special, but its fun to pull out and compete against someone.
