AI-Powered Futures: Centralized Beast System vs. Decentralized Age of Abundance:
In the next 10–20 years, AI advancements—potentially achieving 60–80% on Humanity’s Last Exam (HLE) and integrated into human-equivalent robots—could lead to two starkly different realities: a centralized “Beast System” driven by AI, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), and oligarchic control vs. a decentralized Age of Abundance powered by AI, Bitcoin, and innovation. The choice between these futures hinges on whether we embrace decentralized systems to end scarcity or allow centralized planning, akin to communism, to perpetuate control and dependency.
The Beast System: AI, CBDCs, and Oligarchic Control:
In the dystopian “Beast System,” AI robots with near-expert capabilities (e.g., 60% HLE by 2028–2035) are controlled by a small elite—human or AI oligarchs—using CBDCs as a centralized transaction layer. CBDCs, issued by governments or tech giants, enable total surveillance, tracking every transaction and enforcing compliance, echoing Revelation’s “mark of the beast” that controls buying and selling. This system fosters infinite inflation, as fiat-based CBDCs can be printed without limit, eroding purchasing power and driving up costs despite AI’s potential to produce goods at near-zero cost. Individuals own nothing, trapped in debt slavery to elites who gate access to AI-produced resources. Centralized planning, like communism, stifles innovation, as bureaucrats or algorithms dictate production and distribution, creating a “Gods and Useless” hierarchy where humans are monitored, manipulated, and dependent, stripped of agency in a surveillance state.
The Age of Abundance: AI, Bitcoin, and Decentralized Innovation:
In contrast, the Age of Abundance leverages AI robots and Bitcoin to create a post-scarcity world. AI, potentially scoring 70–80% on HLE by 2035–2045, produces goods and services (food, housing, energy) at near-zero cost, while Bitcoin—a decentralized, deflationary, and antifragile currency—ensures equitable access. Bitcoin’s fixed supply (21 million coins) drives down costs in hard money terms, making one BTC’s purchasing power near-infinite as goods become abundant (e.g., millions of meals or hundreds of homes by 2045). Its decentralized network, with over 15,000 nodes, prevents elite control, countering the “Beast System” by empowering families to transact freely with AI robots. Innovation thrives as open-source AI and community-owned robots enable collaborative, interdisciplinary breakthroughs, unlike communism’s rigid central planning. This system ends scarcity by aligning prices with AI’s efficiency, fostering universal prosperity and autonomy.
Why AI/Bitcoin/Abundance Must Prevail:
The convergence of AI and Bitcoin offers a path to end scarcity through decentralized innovation, avoiding the centralized control of a CBDC-driven Beast System. Bitcoin’s permissionless nature ensures no elite can gatekeep resources, preventing debt slavery and surveillance. Its deflationary model accelerates abundance by reducing costs as AI scales production, unlike inflationary CBDCs that enrich oligarchs. Decentralized AI development, paired with open-source robotics, mirrors Bitcoin’s ethos, enabling communities to innovate and own their future, unlike communism’s stifling bureaucracy. Historical failures of centralized systems (e.g., Soviet Union’s collapse) contrast with Bitcoin’s resilience (surviving bans, crashes) and AI’s potential to democratize expertise. To avoid a dystopian oligarchy, we must prioritize open access to AI, widespread Bitcoin adoption, and policies protecting decentralization. By 2035–2045, this confluence can usher in a post-scarcity paradise where every family benefits from AI-driven abundance, free from control, debt, or scarcity—fulfilling humanity’s potential through innovation, not subjugation.
I don't think people understand just how many laws there are at this point that can be "interpreted" to do whatever the fuck the executive branch wants to do. And you can't stop them until it get clarified by the SCOTUS. They've been passing useless and/or over intrusive laws for decades!! BOTH parties have created this at the behest of lobbyists. Not citizens.
@BillAckman Worked in "Responsible AI" for a couple of years at a major provider. It was a joke. When we did work it was more about making sure models aren't racist than safe.
@BostonMetaX@MLFootball Everyone knows it wasn't technically a catch. We're analyzing and admiring the raw athleticism of this play from a guy who skipped a grade to start the season as a 17yo. His ceiling is off the charts.
@SecretaryBurgum Or increasing the amount of money in circulation since covid by 40%? No...couldn't be. That would make the rich richer and poor poorer...couldn't be that.
You do know the money is literally designed to do this? Right? How do people still not understand how the debt money system of the fiat dollar works?
Inflation is a feature. Not a flaw in the design. It's built to transfer wealth to asset holders. Bankers in particular. And both Democrats and Republicans work for them.
@zanekarl @steve_hanke This! But in his defense why would he not support a system that helped Boomers like him rob six generations of wealth with their money of choice? 🤷♂️
My eleven year old stops watching shows that don't align with our family's values. Watched her do it several times. Why? Because we spend a lot of time together. I demonstrate our values and talk to her about them. Not that hard...except maybe the spend time together part is harder for some.
