China’s started using anti fatigue laser lights on some highways to keep drivers alert at night.
The idea is to stop drivers getting drowsy on long, boring night drives.
With rare exception, ideas really are trivial compared to execution.
For example, the idea of going to the Moon is simple, but ACTUALLY going to the Moon is staggeringly difficult.
@Dtemp91@WheelmanDan63@Arin_Yumi You’re right except Japan barely tariffs on US goods (less than 4% on average or so). They have 0% tariffs on American cars, even though the US has imposed up to 25% tariffs on Japanese cars.
@wilderdanni2@sonsan48@YiToli@StellaParton Unfortunately I’m not aware of their tariffs on specific products other than cars. But I agree that tariffs can be a barrier to exports. (The US tariffs 2.5% on imported cars.) I don’t judge President’s agenda.
@wilderdanni2@sonsan48@YiToli@StellaParton It’s hard to argue because he made up the number. Japan imposes a 0% tariff on American cars. American cars are unpopular there simply because their steering wheel is on the “wrong side” and they’re too big to drive. If GM/Ford makes compatible cars, consumers would buy.
