@MLSMoves The funniest part is all three Argentina players not moving a muscle while watching it happen, pretty much knowing if a goal is going to be scored, it will be Messi
@FelipeCar Unfortunately not. During the broadcast, the announcers try to make it a bigger deal than it is, saying “it’s hard not to think of the scandal first.” It’s actually not hard to move on from it!
@jt_stamford I get people hate Arsenal fans, but this just means that Man City, the club facing no consequences for over a hundred charges and that has won many times in the last decade, is once again the champion. Also, an oil club. Why do people want this?
Anyone else ever thought how the phrase “Theoden King” in LOTR sounds cool, but few other kings, in fiction or real life, can make that work? Alfred King, George King, Thranduil King, Elessar King, Elendil King, Gil-Galad King? Seems only Theoden King rolls off the tongue.
@newyorkgrooovee I have noticed that there are fewer stars that have made commitments at this point than I expected. I wonder if it is taking longer because agents and players are asking for way too much money and schools are not willing to meet these crazy price tags, so negotiations are slow
@SCNext I love how the language is “return” rather than stay, like he left and then came back. The current state of things, players have to announce they are returning
@SethDavisHoops I’m not saying it was the right decision, I’m just answering the question of what he was thinking. He probably thought passing was winning the game, which would be true if it worked. Obviously the smart decision is holding it, but the two guys before him also chose to pass
@SethDavisHoops It’s a game of inches. If his pass is a few inches to the left or right, it probably gets through and everyone is saying what a great play it was to avoid all the fouls and end the game right there.
