You can literally make a video buying expensive alcohol & can consume it on camera, that’s fine.
I can’t even discuss legal cannabis in a YouTube video, without showing it or consuming it.

Maybe one day @YouTube will follow their own rules.

Even my normal daily vlog I uploaded yesterday got age restricted for no reason.

I submitted an appeal and it got denied instantly in 30 seconds, so obviously nobody actually reviewed the video.

The video shows nothing but a vlog of my day, some skateboarding, and the discussion of products, no consumption.

It just sucks because when a full video gets restricted on like 20k views after a few hours like that, the video is literally dead.

I have to delete it at this point because if I leave it up, it will affect my future videos performance based on how my last video performed.

Now I’ve just wasted two days of my life filming and editing that video.

I can’t reupload it, because the most dedicated subs won’t re-watch it, so it won’t get the initial views to perform well in the first place.

So now it’s just dead, forever gone.

This is why I have no motivation to film full length content. Even following all of YouTube’s rules, YouTube don’t follow their own rules, and it makes it impossible to want to dedicate spending time making a video.
