@metroadlib wait till they find out a book consists only of language. characters do not exist and plot do not exist in a novel, only prose. if the prose is bad, the book is bad.
@brown_book_bug@MoviePrograms Oxford offers a Classic & English lit. course for this reason, but I would expect only English lit in a typical English lit course.
@ac_landmarks Why would they intentionally post a new clip that shows off a worse version of something in their game? Either their marketing team is terrible or their animators are lazy.
@reason17164257@RicardoNarLoyo@Dykeocletian@Y40IFRQTTING I am not moving goalposts, I am answering your questions trying to guess your point. I give up so I provide my philosophy for a more fundamental challenge.
You could've started with agriculture being worse, *that* is interesting.
But we're talking past each other, so good day.
@reason17164257@RicardoNarLoyo@Dykeocletian@Y40IFRQTTING As I said, I'm not vegan but I won't mind being convinced. I think the philosophy I base my thoughts on is the spirituality of the Indigenous Americans like Black Elk: balance between man and nature, not forgetting practicality. Have you read "Black Elk Speaks"?
@reason17164257@RicardoNarLoyo@Dykeocletian@Y40IFRQTTING Not all animals eat their kids. But all carnivores eat other animals.
I err on the side of not supporting forceful impregnation. I imagine something more akin to a free range open farm where the animals live for themselves and once in a while we'll kill one when needed.
@reason17164257@RicardoNarLoyo@Dykeocletian@Y40IFRQTTING Animals kill other animals all the time. We are animals too, so it is natural. "Gifts" because we should be thankful for what the animal provides. I don't support killing animals before maturity, so rather later or not.
