@Tigers_of_Old Makes me laugh when they put up the QR code on the big screen and you can’t scan it at either end because of partially obstructed view. You’d think they’d realise that, but no.

The late December gigs they did for a couple of years running in the early 80’s at the old Sorrento RSL hall rank among my alltime favourites #BlackShorts
@simonbiddle I’ve often wondered if it is an Australian use only. Internationally sports games are often Team A @ Team B, but we always use versus. Have definitely heard my kids using versing’ since the 90’s and that predates online gaming.
@AFLisnotasport@PeterHo59034884 Definitely not an MCG image. You’d never have had a backdrop like that in the 60’s where you could see trees in the background
@MusicBrownlow Booked to play at our school dance in 1977 before they’d had a hit. By the time the gig rolled around, they were Countdown regulars. To their credit, they honoured the booking but I’m sure it wasn’t a career highlight!

@thethoroughbred It was so obvious it made me briefly wonder whether there was a rule change or interpretation I’d missed and that’s why they were questioning it. But no, it was just incompetence.
@simongerman600 There would have been a time in my life, I would have owned most of the top 20 of that era. I look at this list and realise it’s a long time since I bought an album.
@Richmond_TT I assume you’re talking about the effort late in Q4. Same ‘skill’ executed by same player at 12:50 to go in Q3, resulting in turnover goal.
Hey @AFL & @MCG. Good Dreamtime entertainment but would it have been too much to put the entertainers names on the scoreboard or the LED screens? You didn’t miss giving Coles a mention. #dreamtime#tigersBombers
