The current disagreements stem from Ukraine not getting any security guarantees, understandably leading to fears that the current peace deal just allows Putin to regroup and attack on his terms again in the future.

@aniobrien A ceasefire isn't peace though. Ukraine rightfully wants security guarantees so that they don't have to fight wars every few years on Putins terms.

You say that the past 80 years didn't work, but the past 80 years have been the longest stretch Europe has been at relative peace.
