@fivetanley I miss my men's knit night from the before times 😭

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@fivetanley Ah, ok. Looks fun! Have seen many TikToks about it, but we just buy from OTA

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@fivetanley Like, cook with tofu? Or MAKE make tofu?

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@mikelikesbikes They were my favorite growing up. Bonus points if they're still a bit frozen from being stored out on the back porch during MN winter.

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@fivetanley It's almost like worker protections are good

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@fivetanley My first on-call experience was in Germany, where (by law) we were compensated for off-hours on-call time -- even if you weren't paged. It was a rude awakening going on call here in the states..

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@mikelikesbikes Not sea shanties, but I've been getting lots of joy from this account: https://t.co/qM61lME0qQ

@mikelikesbikes Architect is one of the few post-tech paths I've considered. Love architecture, but I know zero about what being an architect actually involves and not sure I could do school again... so probably better to stick it out and hope to retire early

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@fivetanley I'm pretty sure we have an air mattress in the closet that you could borrow?

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@jremsikjr I'm so sorry for your loss, Jim ❤️❤️❤️

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@fivetanley 6 months, yeah, too early. 3 maybe not? I chose a start date 2 months out for my next thing without question or pushback. Having something lined up while still having time off has been great!

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@noopkat I'm so excited to find this out for myself in a few weeks!

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@fivetanley Congrats! I'll have had a 3 month break when I start my next thing, and I recommend it to anyone who's in a position to do so. It's done wonders for my mental health

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@fivetanley LOL this was my dish at the family Christmas smorgasbord growing up

@elight No, thankfully we have power! Just running low on inspiration and supplies and weary of cooking and cleaning.

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

Eating saltines with peanut butter for dinner, how's your lockdown snow-in weekend going?

[Bernerd Schaefer @bjschaefer]

@GFontenot The closest I've come to sharing a meal with someone other than Rachael in a long time!
