To paraphrase for anybody who doesn’t want to read the full document…
Essentially Jayden Daniels NIL agreement with LSU expired 180 days after he left. (I’m not sure if that’s 180 days from the day of his last game, the day he declared for the draft, the day he was drafted, etc…) However, as we currently speak it has been 852 days since Jayden Daniels name was called at the 2024 NFL draft, and LSU has continued to use his name, image, and likeness long past the point of that expiration.
In other words, either renegotiate a new contract to use my name and face, or stop using it…
This is the spin from Klutch Sports and Anthony Davis to appear they have leverage after the reporting from Josh @JoshuaBRobbins in the @TheAthletic earlier today.
When in reality, Will Dawkins, Michael Winger, and the #Wizards have the leverage.
Some work from #Alabama’s linebackers on the practice field on Thursday morning, including reps by QB Reese (36), Cayden Jones (23), Luke Metz (4), Abduall Sanders Jr. (35), Duke Johnson (15), Xavier Griffin (11), and Zay Hall (34)
@BoersBurner This wld be disastrous on many fronts. First, Keelon gives the offense an extra threat with his legs. Something that would take some pressure off the o-line. Second Keelon was top recruit in nation. Can’t sit him for 2 straight yrs and think other top ranked plyrs won’t notice
ESPN’s Bill Connelly ranked Keelon Russell as the No. 1 most important player in CFB for 2026.
His reasoning undersells an underrated offseason for Alabama and Kalen DeBoer:

Anthony Davis may WAIT to sign his NON-MAX extension (Via @BenStandig)
"My best guess is both sides agree to wait... I wouldn’t fret about the resolution coming close to 4 for $275 million territory"
The Wizards become eligible to extend Anthony Davis on Thursday 👀👀
#Commanders signed former third-round pick CB Fabian Moreau, @MikeGarafolo first reported
The move adds more depth to the cornerback position. The 32-year-old spent the last two seasons with Daronte Jones on the Minnesota Vikings

#Commanders RB Bill Croskey-Merritt on the defense:
"I love this defense... never seen a defense like it... the fronts are crazy, the scheme is crazy."

There is Optimism about Trey Amos returning soon. But this adds more depth at an area that needed it. Moreau played in 11 games for Minn last year. Became the 3rd CB.
📍 Insights from Ashburn
My top observations on the CB and S room from yesterday at @Commanders Training Camp ⤵️
• Rasul Douglas: Continues to impress and looks like the best active CB on the roster. He was flying around with active hands all day, making great plays on incoming passes, and coming close to forcing a few turnovers.
• Mikey Sainristil: Keeps battling. You can tell he plays with a ton of heart. He’s been arriving just a beat late on a few targets, but to counter that, he seems to be emphasizing a 'punch' technique to strip the ball and force takeaways. He tested it out quite a bit yesterday.
• Nick Cross: He is going to be an absolute dog on this defense. His closing speed and instincts stood out, he just pops up out of nowhere to disrupt plays. On one play, Bill caught a pass in the flats, turned upfield, and immediately ran into Nick. Bill tried a spin move, but Nick just planted a shoulder into his back mid-spin and pushed him right back as if to say, "Nice try, that won't work here." Great day for Nick.
I was keeping a closer eye on the offensive sets yesterday, so I didn't catch enough of Quan Martin, Ahkello Witherspoon, or Amik Robertson to give a fair breakdown.
*Disclaimer: I'm just a fan giving my honest take. The words above were spoken with what my eyes and gut told me were true. Agree or disagree, let's talk about what you've seen/heard down in the replies! :)
