Tiger Brands will launch a venture capital fund to invest in food and beverage start-ups.
The fund, to be launched in June 2021, will focus mostly on South Africa with an initial capital allocation of less than R100 million.
Fortune Poto, a 29-year-old farmer from Bela-Bela in Limpopo grew her business venture at the start of the national lockdown last year.
