Why does ANYONE find Joe Rogan at all impressive? Yes, he does fantastic numbers. What if that's because we live in an age where loudmouthed morons have more capacity to project their nonsense than they once did?
On September 15, 1896, two trains collided head-on about 14 miles north of Waco, Texas. Upon collision, the boilers of the locomotives exploded, scattering debris over a wide area and leading to the death of at least two onlookers and injuring many more.
Yet, no one fled the scene.
Following the crash, a multitude from the surrounding area surged forward, eager to collect a fragment of the debris. This was because the crowd of approximately 40,000 had anticipated the collision, having paid to see the spectacle.
From 1896 to the 1930s, orchestrated train collisions were a crowd-pulling event at many U.S. fairs and festivals, a phenomenon predating the concept of demolition derbies or monster truck rallies.
Growing up, my favorite #Pens line was Alexei Kovalev, Robert Lang, and Marty Straka. It had everything. Once dubbed the "best 2nd line in hockey," this trio accounted for 270 points between them in 2000-01. They produced some of the most iconic moments in franchise history.
Mario Lemieux's comeback in the 1992-93 season after beating Cancer:

A lion was seen in the Atlas Mountains during a flight on the Casablanca-Dakar air route. The photograph, taken by Marcelin Flandrin in 1925, is the last visual record of a wild "Barbary" lion of North Africa.
To clarify, the Barbary lion is not completely extinct but is extinct in the wild. It is reported that there are fewer than 90 of them in captivity worldwide. They are part of a global breeding program aimed at helping to revive the population.
@JoshYohe_PGH “Letting Malkin walk for Trocheck would have been a downgrade, but wouldnt you have respected Hextall more for making another wrong move?”
WTF?!
Devon Levi will back up Craig Anderson in tonight's game against the Senators.
He doesn't have a black & red mask yet, so he grabbed some Sharpies and designed his own... 🤯
