Tom Caprara was born at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. He grew up on the base drinking the water and playing in it as a kid, and years later he and his brother both developed a rare form of leukemia. They weren't alone either; hundreds of thousands of veterans and families have filed claims after being poisoned by water the government knew was contaminated (and covered up) for decades.

He told his wife after taking chemotherapy that it was so bad he'd rather die than go through it again a second time.

And now a lifelong Democrat at the Department of Justice named Stanley Woodward has been slow-walking settlements while veterans like Tom are still waiting to receive an apology and justice for what was done to them.

More than 400,000 claims have been filed, and most have only received pennies in settlement offers, while veterans are dying every day with legitimate claims that Woodward has failed to act on.

The Looney Tunes motion filed yesterday by Kevin "Shooter McGavin" Reddington to investigate Michael is not just an attack on Michael for being the courageous lone holdout juror. Reddington's motion is actually a full-frontal attack on the U.S. Constitution. Because if the new normal is that jurors are going to face brutal reprisals for disagreeing with a defense attorney, you can kiss the Sixth Amendment goodbye.

To anyone who thinks that Reddington's motion is OK, just remember that the tables will inevitably turn. Imagine a similar trial sometime in the not too distant future where it is the reverse scenario: 11-1 in favor of guilty, with one holdout favoring not guilty by reason of insanity. I doubt you folks would be alright if the District Attorney then filed a motion to investigate that lone holdout standing in the way of a conviction.

That's why this is actually not a partisan issue. Really, this is a "do we still want to have a Sixth Amendment" issue. If you are like me and believe steadfastly in the Constitution, it's easy to see how, regardless of your party affiliation, this is an absolutely terrible path of ruin Reddington wants to take us down.

If we follow his destructive proposal to its logical conclusion, we're going to have an endless cycle of prosecutors investigating holdouts who oppose "guilty" and defense attorneys investigating holdouts who oppose "not guilty." Pretty soon we'll end up with with a retrograde justice system that will look a lot like the Hatfield-McCoy Feud: a cycle of carnage so malignant that its origins will fade in importance, replaced by the hopeless death spiral of the cycle itself.

Kevin Reddington's disgusting motion to investigate Michael is worthy of nothing but universal condemnation. This is certainly not the final word from us on this subject, but merely our first words. It's all going to backfire spectacularly on sore loser Reddington.

🚨BREAKING: Fremont, Nebraska rejected a 22-year-old volunteer firefighter for a paid job because he was homeschooled.

Andrew Coates already runs into burning buildings for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT. He wanted to get paid to do the work he already does for free.

The job ad said “graduation from high school.” He has a diploma. The city said homeschool is unaccredited in Nebraska and turned him down in April.

After that, Fremont added the word “accredited” to the description.

His own chief, Chris Lichtenberg: “I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here… because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him.”

Dozens of homeschool families showed up. The Civil Service Commission said city policy is not their job.

When your house is on fire, you will not ask the man carrying your kids out where he sat for algebra.

Andrew says it is not just about him anymore. He wants every homeschooler to get a fair shot.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a 22-year-old who runs into BURNING BUILDINGS as a volunteer firefighter was told he isn't qualified to be a paid firefighter...

...because he was HOMESCHOOLED.

Then the city changed the job posting to cover it up.

His name is Andrew Coates. He's 22 years old, in Nebraska.

Right now, today, he runs into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT.

He is doing the job. For free.

All he wanted was to get PAID to do it. In his words: "Make a career out of it would be the goal. To get paid to do what you love."

So he applied to the Fremont Fire Department.

And in April, the city rejected him. Why?

Because his high school diploma says he was homeschooled.

That's it. That's the whole disqualification.

Not his EMT license.
Not his fitness.
Not his record.
Not his experience pulling people out of fires ALREADY!!

...how he was educated.

The job posting he applied to said "graduation from high school."

That's all it said.
He graduated high school.
He has a diploma.

And AFTER they rejected him, the city went back and added the word "accredited" to the job description.

His own fire chief, the man who has watched Andrew work, showed up to defend him:

"I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here, and in my mind, because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him."

Over THIRTY homeschool families showed up to stand behind this kid.

And the Civil Service Commission? They said it isn't their job to touch city policy.

Homeschoolers are literally a generation of kids who read ABOVE grade level, who work with their HANDS, who volunteer in their communities, who show up for their neighbors.

And this young man is the proof.

At 22, he's a certified EMT and a volunteer firefighter, while plenty of his peers are on a couch.

When your house is on fire at 3 a.m., I promise you will not ask the man dragging your children out where he went to high school.

You will not ask if his diploma was accredited.

You will thank GOD he came.

Andrew isn't even fighting for himself anymore. His words:

"I think now it's turned into we want to make sure that every homeschooler has an equal opportunity."

That's a better man than the policy that rejected him.

Fremont, you have a licensed EMT and an active firefighter begging to serve your city. And you turned him down over paperwork, then rewrote the paperwork to cover it.

Fix this.

REPORT - TEXAS HOUSE DEMOCRAT CHECKED “NO FELONY CONVICTION” DESPITE FEDERAL GUILTY PLEA AND 63-MONTH PRISON SENTENCE 🛑

Ericka Lomick, the Democratic candidate for Texas House District 93, has a documented federal criminal history tied to a mortgage-fraud case. Federal court records identify her as Ericka L. Flood, also known as Ericka Lomick, and show that she pleaded guilty in a case involving mortgage-fraud conspiracy, bank fraud and money-laundering conspiracy. She was ultimately sentenced to concurrent federal prison terms, including a 63-month sentence.

Now fast-forward to August 20, 2026. Lomick submitted her application to appear on the ballot for Texas House District 93.

Lomick is running against Republican Alan Blaylock for the open Texas House District 93 seat. There are actually two elections happening there on November 3 - the regular general election and a special election to fill the remainder of former Rep. Nate Schatzline’s term after he resigned from the House in July. Gov. Greg Abbott formally ordered that special election after Schatzline’s resignation created the vacancy.

Under the section labeled “Felony Conviction Status,” Ericka checked the box stating, “I have not been finally convicted of a felony.”

The Texas Secretary of State says a candidate must indicate either that they have not been finally convicted of a felony or, if they have, that they were pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disabilities. A person who has been convicted is supposed to provide proof of that pardon or release. The same state guidance says knowingly providing false information on a candidate application about final felony-conviction status is a Class B misdemeanor.

Texas law specifically requires this disclosure and specifically warns candidates that knowingly giving false information about their felony-conviction status is a Class B misdemeanor.

I have obtained 144 pages of her federal record, and it’s not good. The material surrounding this case includes the guilty plea, sentencing information and later litigation involving the conviction.

And there is more: A separate background report I obtained shows a $300,000 federal lien under the name Ericka Flood recorded in Tarrant County on January 31, 2024. The report ties that lien to federal case identifier DNCW3:10CR124 - the same federal criminal matter associated with her mortgage-fraud prosecution.

The report also turns up additional North Carolina criminal and traffic records under the names Ericka Flood and Ericka Lomick. One involves a 2002 simple worthless-check misdemeanor charge that was filed in 2003. That case was ultimately dismissed without leave by the district attorney.

Another possible match from 1996 also involves a simple worthless-check misdemeanor and likewise shows a dismissal.

There are additional North Carolina case entries from later years, but several do not identify the underlying offense, so I am continuing to pull the original records before saying more about those.

And then there are her business records. The report identifies Lomick as both the managing member and registered agent of Pro-Etiq Solutions LLC, a Texas company whose status is listed as “Forfeited Existence.” The company was filed in December 2024, with the report showing that forfeited status verified in June 2026.

The same report links her, under the name Ericka Flood, to two North Carolina companies - The Kashmir Group LLC and The Lenzi Group LLC - both of which are listed as having undergone administrative dissolution.

So between the federal felony case, a guilty plea, a 63-month federal prison sentence, a $300,000 federal lien recorded in Tarrant County in 2024, additional historical court records, and a Texas business listed as having forfeited its existence… I think Ericka owes Texans some answers.
