As the Arctic chill continues to grapple the Plains, numerous new record lows were established this morning. Many of these locations will experience even lower temperatures by Tuesday morning, with additional record lows expected.

DFW's normal high/low this time of year is around 60°/38°F. Monday's high is expected to be 17°F, or 43° below normal. The low Monday night of 7°F would be 31° below normal. For about 30 hours Mon-Tue temps in the DFW area will average in the low teens. Brrr! 😮🥶
