Our latest report reveals that more than half of Texas public schools have policies that shame and punish Black, Brown, LGBTQIA+, religious minority, and low-income students.⬇️

Big News: Our film #BobiWineThePeoplesPresident which showcases General @KagutaMuseveni’s brutal regime and the resilient citizens pushing back, has been nominated for Best Documentary in the Oscars. It is such a humbling moment to see the Ugandan story make it to the Academy Awards- the most prestigious and significant awards in the world. Our community will always show up for one another. 🏳️⚧️
The lives of over 90,000 young people and their families have been radically rewritten in just the last 12 months by a craven and dangerous effort to eradicate trans people from public life. Every avenue must be exhausted in defense of this care and the lives that depend on it.
Texas is too big and too great to be sold to the highest bidder.
We cannot let two billionaires turn our beloved state into a Christofascist theocracy.
Help us stop them: https://t.co/eKhibERrEu
A Republican appointed judge declared SB12, the Texas Drag Ban, unconstitutional today and issued a permanent injunction. From inception to signage this was always attacking drag performers and LGBTQ+ people. Excellent work to the orgs & advocates who fought it all along the way!
Is anyone surprised that Texas Republicans let Ken Paxton off the hook for blatant and rampant corruption?
We can't expect justice from them. We must #VoteThemOut
THANK YOU to everyone that came to our 2023 Municipal Elections Endorsement Meeting! Congratulations to all our endorsed candidates, and thank you to all those that screened with us.
If you don't see a race listed, we didn't endorse that race.
We are also hiring for multiple positions if anyone wants to join our "radical entity" and "enemy of all Texans who cherish wholesome family values!" https://t.co/MmqPDoH7W0
This Barbie is “a radical entity and the enemy of all Texans who cherish wholesome family values!” 😂 If that sounds like your kind of Barbie, consider becoming an @ACLUTx member today: https://t.co/lxAEbVhKKy
“The goal of [the drag ban] is to chip away at our freedoms and eventually erase queer and trans existence from the public sphere." — Andrea Segovia (she/her) @TransTexas https://t.co/YirswNwgGx
BREAKING: We’re suing to stop Texas’ drag ban from taking effect September 1.
Drag and other forms of artistic expression are protected under the First Amendment — and we won’t let politicians get away with this cruel attempt to push LGBTQIA+ Texans out of public life.
I do want to remind everyone that the courts won’t save us, we save us. This lawsuit is important, but so is every single thing we do to support trans people, especially trans youth. Your role in this struggle is just as important as the attorneys’, as mine, as anyone else’s.
BREAKING: We’re suing Texas on behalf of families and health professionals to stop state officials from banning life-saving medical care for trans youth.
Enough is enough. Children deserve better than bullying masquerading as policy.
NEW: As Pride Month begins, the All In For Equality coalition pledges to continue advocating for LGBTQIA+ Texans after a record number of attacks on our rights during #txlege.
Resilience and love-fueled resistance is our calling — and we’re answering.

#SB12 is extremely vague by design. It threatens to ban and criminalize performance that “appeals to the prurient interest in sex” — without defining that key term.
Cheerleaders, comedians, ballet dancers — all doing jail time? https://t.co/AsUz57L42W
