I’m still furious about what happened to Charlie Kirk.

He walked onto that campus to speak, debate, and challenge people with words. He should have walked back out and gone home to his wife and children. Instead, his family has spent nearly a year living with a hole that can never be filled.

Now Tyler Robinson is headed to trial on all seven charges, including aggravated murder.

I don’t want Charlie’s politics put on trial. I don’t want excuses, distractions, or endless delays. Put the evidence in front of a jury and let them decide what happened.

And if Robinson is convicted of deliberately murdering Charlie, I hope prosecutors pursue the maximum punishment allowed by law, including the death penalty.

Charlie deserved to go home that day.

His family deserves justice.
