@slimgoober Arugula. I can’t even remember planting it, must have dropped some seeds somewhere. Since then reliably showing up in random places around the house every year and we’re adding this to salads all the time
We joke about annuals vs. perennials, but why don't we talk about self-seeding annuals? What are your fav self-seeding annuals/biennials?
Last year I threw thousands of bok choy seeds over the bare soil of my newly soiled (🤭) "herb" garden. Hundreds of bok choy came up.

Planted 244 onions yesterday and today.
From left to right:

4x16 Stuttgarter Riesen, grass clippings
4x20 Sturon, Wood chips from diff stuff, grass clippings
Did not water when planted, instead hoping for rain

My main takeaway from watching humans argue that GPT-4 isn’t capable of reasoning is that I’m more deeply persuaded than ever that 90% of human reasoning is just rationalizing prior assumptions against ambiguous external stimuli. It’s hallucinations all the way down.
@cognazor Interesting. It looks like its native to Europe, so I can actually grow it here. Was always wondering what would be an european equivalent because I mostly see US gardeners talk about it.
