With many of our families & many of our @UKinGhana team temporarily in the UK, we ran a virtual marathon (26 people; 1 mile each) on Sunday. We raised £500 for @futurestars15 & @NHSuk.
COVID may have temporarily separated us, but it has not stopped us working together 🇬🇧 🇬🇭
Today on #WorldHealthDay we stand with our teams all over the world to say ayekoo to those brave health workers who are providing life-saving care.

Great to welcome back 22 Chevening Scholars having completed their post-graduate scholarships in the UK.
After deepening their expertise & broadening their networks, I’m looking forward to learning from them & spending time together in period ahead.

It's been a wonderful year spent at @QMUL thanks to @cheveningfco for making this journey smoothly successful! Grateful 💓!!!!
One of the highlights of my #cheveningjourney is the new contact I've made with the secretary general of ICSID, through Association of Young Arbitrators' Africa Arbitration Academy training session here in London. I find Meg's story inspirational, towards my career aspirations.
@TheTalkCBS If there's anything I've learned, sex doesn't hold anything together, though powerful. What keeps two people together is far from the sex. It is the common values and interests shared, the decision to choose each other always and every time over and over again.
And what happens after the expression of sincere condolences? Do our lives mean anything to our national leadership?
We hear this expression of condolence every year. It's becoming heartbreakingly cliché
The news of the death of 12 persons in the recent flooding that hit our nation’s capital is very sad. My sincere condolences to the families of the deceased. 1/3
Indeed, we mourn but we must rebuild.
What are we doing as Ghanians? We mourn flood victims every year but we continue to take bribes and allow buildings in water way. We fail to repair quickly what is broken.
This is the difference- conscientious hardwork to remedy the broken
Notre Dame is one of the world’s great treasures, and we’re thinking of the people of France in your time of grief. It’s in our nature to mourn when we see history lost – but it’s also in our nature to rebuild for tomorrow, as strong as we can.
It's time for our nation to stop denying science.
A human life begins at the moment of fertilization.
Children in the womb are fully human.
Every abortion kills an innocent human life.
@cheveningfco Congratulations!!!! to this amazing mother.
I had a similar experience. My first attempt was in 2016. I lost my pregnancy for the second time just when I started the application process. I tried again in 2017, but this time from the confines of my hospital room.
