Every organization already has a culture.
The question is what it rewards, tolerates, protects, and repeats.
If you want to change a culture, don't start with slogans. Start by examining what behaviors get celebrated...and what behaviors get a pass.
@NathanWhitaker Nathan, out of all the great wisdom you provide to us, this one ranks as one of the best! Having the "right" culture within a place of employment is so, so important...but rarely happens. We must always celebrate good behavior, and encourage it! You're right on, & I thank you!
@NathanWhitaker Nathan, that is awesome! What an honor! Says a lot about you. You're a blessing to me and many others...keep touching lives! All glory to God!
Leadership isn’t sustained by control but by trust.
One of the dangers of influence and authority is that we can slowly stop listening, stop noticing, and stop caring how our words land on others.

Leadership is all about relationships.
Titles may open the door, but trust creates influence.
People follow leaders who consistently show they care.

“Never underestimate your platform.” The Mentor Leader
Could be as simple as:
A conversation.
An encouraging word.
A lunch.
A text.
A small act of belief in someone else.
Leadership moments rarely feel historic in real time—but they can change a life.
@NathanWhitaker It doesn't matter where you are in life, great leadership matters! And walking the talk matters! Thank you for this, Nathan! Your wisdom is a blessing to me. All glory to my Savior! Have a blessed day, my friend!
You can win and still fail as a leader if your people feel empty when it’s over. Build a culture that values growth, relationships, and purpose—not just the scoreboard. #mentorleader
My newsletter from last week referencing @work_matters and the damage done by "jerks" in the workplace really struck a nerve with readers:

If you build a team that depends on you, you’ve created limits. If you build leaders who build leaders, you’ve created momentum. Real leadership multiplies itself. #mentorleader
Strong leaders ask, “How can I help others grow?” Weak leaders ask, “How can this help me?”
It's a critical shift that impacts culture, trust, and long-term results. #mentorleader
