11/07/2026 - Day 40
NAD+ - Went up to 75mg every other day from 7th July (one dose a day late on 10th due to travel)
Reta - up to 3 mg on 1st July, 4mg 8th July
Glow - went up to 30mg from 7th (same schedule as NAD+)
Synth: these are life-changing compounds. Of course, my lifestyle is dialled the f in, which is compounding the effects. Mental clarity is insane, food noise zero, eating is mechanistic. I eat when I feel hungry and not otherwise. Due to the NAD+ I feel ravenous when I am hungry. Having to forcefeed myself some mealtimes to get enough calories in. 75g protein shakes helping in this regard (liquid meals much easier). Note: I’m really having to dial in my electrolyte intake with my current stack. Drink too much water without electrolytes and it’s game over.
NAD+ Notes: 50mg of NAD+ 28 minutes ago.
I am feeling something, possible placebo, though effects are supposedly very fast. I feel energetic, my leg is bouncing up and down. The energy feels a little directonless. My first thought when I started noticing it was that I may need a modafinil stack for full optimisation around work.
I slept very poorly last night and the night before (jetlag), so the energy I'm feeling is very surprising.
My mouth feels a little different, hard to describe it, slight taste change I think.
30/06/2026 - Day 29
NAD+ - Pinning 50mg every other day (one dose was a day late last week, see below)
Reta - Week5, moved up to 3mg per week this week. Didn’t want to go to suggested 4mg as
results @ 2mg has been plenty.
Glow Blend (BPC-157, TBC-500, GHK-Cu) - 15 mg (started 26/06/2026, 28/06/2026, 30/06/2026), every 3rd day for now
One NAD+ dose was a day late last week due to travel. Plus jetlag = its absence was noticed. Not horrendous, fine now.
Shred is so real. I think the combo of NAD+ & Reta is unbelievable. I’m eating a lot (mainly still carb consumption that is up), mostly healthy but no where near obsessive, eating what I enjoy when I want it (but I rarely want it). Metabolism is firing on all cylinders and eating carbs pre-gym has unbelievable affect on gym performance. Pushing heavier, getting leaner, feeling unreal.
No noticeable affects from the glow yet, though my tan (had this already tbf) is looking v v well. I thought my facial hair may have been growing faster than usual but I think this was placebo.
Taiwan solved tax evasion in 1951 with a trick so cheap it should embarrass every tax authority on the planet.
The problem was an all-cash economy full of small shops. A merchant pockets the cash, skips the receipt, and the sale never existed. Auditors can't catch what was never recorded, and hiring enough of them to watch every noodle stand costs more than the missing tax.
So finance chief Ren Xianqun flipped the incentive. Print a lottery number on every receipt. Draw winners every two months on live TV. Top prize today: NT$10 million, about $310K.
Suddenly the customer and the shopkeeper want opposite things. The merchant wants the sale off the books. The customer wants the ticket. And there are millions more customers than merchants. Every transaction now carries a built-in witness demanding the paper trail.
Year one, reported tax revenue jumped 75%, from NT$29 million to NT$51 million. Seventy-five years later, roughly 70% of Taiwanese still play. Convenience stores redeem the smallest NT$200 prizes at the register, so even a coffee receipt feels like a scratch card.
The elegant part is what the audit force costs. The prize pool runs about NT$7 billion a year, roughly $20 million. In exchange, the government gets 23 million unpaid auditors working every checkout line in the country, forever. No inspector general on earth delivers that coverage at that price.
Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Slovakia all copied it. The most effective compliance tool ever built looks like a game, and that's exactly why it works.
If you truly trust your girlfriend you should allow yourself to have semi-regular neurotic spirals where you express to her serious concern over your finances, job prospects etc
It will elevate your relationship to heights you could never imagine
What are the best party themes you've seen?
The best party I hosted was called 'Doing It for the Money'
$40 ticket got you $500 monopoly dollars. Whoever had the most money at the end of the night won the prize pool (~$1000?)
People were unbelievably creative....
@Electrarythm@redhairshanks86 Great nightlife, lots of young people doing cool shit, great hiking (peak, Sai Kung, etc), great hub for exploring SEA, low tax. Downsides are that it’s expensive (esp real estate), but airbnbs not too bad vs other international cities.
You can literally manufacture love. Every time you imagine a positive future or replay a good memory with someone, your brain treats the simulation as a real reward, chemically forcing you to value them more.
