I see too many “How to get rich bro” posts on this app, so I’m going to start posting “How to get poor…lessons from Mr. Broke”. Follow the below strategies that I’ve used over the past 30 years of my investing journey to lose tons of money:

1) Maximize leverage. Stocks/crypto on margin. Real Estate with as little money as you can put down.

2) Buy things like stocks, crypto, real estate (hopefully with leverage for max effect) based on what you see on YouTube, @X, Reddit & Tiktok

3) Put all of your eggs into one single basket

4) Buy things at maximum upward trend lines. If “that thing” has gone straight up for 3 yrs and you missed the boat, go ahead and jump in now. It will continue to go up.

5) Don’t EVER allocate any money into boring things. Land, Commodities, Low 5% guaranteed T-bill rates. That’s for grandpa.

6) Hold on to things even if you’re at a ton of profit on a purchase/trade. Remember, you can make EVEN MORE profit if you keep holding.

7) Don’t listen to Boomers or older Gen X groups. They don’t know anything and were given prosperity and good returns based on the time period they lived. Only listen to the TikTok gurus.

8) Sell (or buy) based on emotion and endorphins.

9) Buy the biggest house or live in the nicest apartment that you can barely afford so you can impress your in laws, love interests and friends

10) Don’t worry about understanding what your investing in. Buying rental property? Easy, passive, no work needed. Buying Stocks? - 10-K’s, Balance sheets, FCF, profit conversion ratio - whatever, don’t worry about understanding how to read those. Bobby, on tik tok said it’s a great play.
