@zaidkdahhaj Meditation (practice letting go of that which does not matter and cannot be controlled) mixed with a healthy keto diet. My meditation is rooted in "we are one," but whatever mantra works for you is great. These two things have ELIMINATED my anxiety (which was enormous!)
Trump just declared, "glyphosate-based herbicides are a cornerstone of this Nation’s agricultural productivity and rural economy." And he's declaring glyphosate weedkiller to be a federally-protected critical resources.
This is insanity. He is now pushing the mass poisoning of American food crops and groceries with cancer-causing deadly weedkiller chemicals that will be sprayed all over the food crops.
Trump just declared chemical warfare on the American people. It's all here in black and white:

everything today is backwards
- cheerios are "heart healthy" but steak is bad for you
- raw milk is illegal but you can buy oreo flavored coca cola
- butter is "deadly" but seed oils are safe
- doctors are drug dealers, not healers
- we spray crops with chemicals that kill animals and then eat them
- sunlight is dangerous and sunscreens with 50 chemicals are safe
- living in a city is "success" but living in nature on your own farm is weird
- casual sex is "empowerment" but marriage is restrictive
- working for a boss you hate is feminism but taking care of the home is oppressive
- masculinity is toxic, but weakness is celebrated
we must flip it upside down
@eveforamerica Thank you for sharing this! I have a 6 and 9 year old and am letting them sleep with me until they're ready. I have some of the same "regrets," but trying to make the right choices daily. No regrets, though, only future, we only have now!
Hot shower every night. Warm bed. Food in the fridge. Truck in the garage with heated seats.
We live better than kings did 100 years ago and still complain.
American problems pale in comparison.
Reminder: Life’s pretty damn good.
Dr. Erica Komisar just said what many parents whisper but few say out loud: Modern schools are built for girls, not boys—and we’re paying a steep price.
Little boys (ages 3–6) surge with testosterone. They need to run, jump, play, burn energy.
Instead, we sit them in circle time, demand emotional regulation, and label normal boy behavior as ADHD or “behavioral problems.”
Result? Marginalized, stressed, diagnosed early, and tracked that way through school.
Her fix if she ran the world:
Separate boys and girls in the early years.
Boys get multiple recess periods, short focused bursts, and space to move.
Girls get a calmer environment where they feel safe taking STEM/math risks.
Both thrive when not forced into the opposite gender’s learning style.
Single-gender early education: Boys try art/music without teasing. Girls try science without self-consciousness.
Evidence already shows it works.
Parents/teachers: Do you see boys struggling more in today’s classrooms—or is this overblown?
What’s one change you’d make to education for boys right now?
After this moment, these men will statistically earn more, live longer, nearly halve their substance use, commit far less crime, and have their brains literally rewired for protection.
Men need children.
Children need fathers.
Society needs both.
If doctors in 1950 could be catastrophically wrong about smoking, fat, and sugar while being completely confident in their recommendations...
And doctors in 1980 could be catastrophically wrong about margarine, low-fat diets, and dietary cholesterol while being completely confident in their recommendations...
And doctors in 2000 could be catastrophically wrong about opioids, hormone therapy, and Vioxx while being completely confident in their recommendations...
Why would you assume doctors today, working in the same institutional structures with the same pharmaceutical funding and the same regulatory capture, have suddenly figured it all out?
The system hasn't changed. The incentives haven't changed. The conflicts of interest haven't changed.
Only your willingness to believe them has.
@lovedropx "We've been doing it for centuries..." doesn't mean it's a good thing. Could give countless examples of things we've abandoned after we realized the harm. That being said, you do you! I've had amazing results reducing these things. I get the sentiment though!
California's Central Valley produces 80% of the world's almonds. Each almond requires 3.2 gallons of actual irrigation water to grow. Not rainfall. Actual tap water pumped from aquifers.
One gallon of almond milk requires 162 gallons of irrigation water. Compare that to dairy milk at 8 gallons of tap water per gallon, with the rest being rainfall that falls on pasture anyway.
But here's where it gets properly grim. Almonds bloom for exactly three weeks in February. During those three weeks, California needs every pollinating bee in North America transported to the Central Valley or the crop fails entirely.
Commercial beekeepers truck in 31 billion honeybees. That's two-thirds of America's entire managed bee population, all concentrated in one valley for three weeks. The bees are packed into trucks, driven across the country, dumped into almond groves drenched in pesticides, worked to exhaustion, then packed up and shipped to the next crop.
The mortality rate is catastrophic. Beekeepers report losing 30 to 50% of their hives annually. That's billions of bees dead. Not from natural causes. From being used as disposable pollination machines for your almond milk.
The pesticides don't help. Almond groves are sprayed with neonicotinoids which scramble bee navigation systems, fungicides which weaken their immune systems, and herbicides which eliminate the wildflowers they'd normally forage on between almond blooms.
Meanwhile the aquifer depletion is permanent. The Central Valley has sunk 28 feet in some areas from groundwater extraction. That water took 10,000 years to accumulate. It's being drained in decades for almond milk.
Your vegan latte killed more bees and used more water than a year's worth of dairy milk. But it's got "plant-based" on the label so you're definitely saving the planet.
