Tukaram Mundhe Slams Bollywood Actors Over Pan Masala Ad | મહારાષ્ટ્ર ફૂડ એન્ડ ડ્રગ એડમિનિસ્ટ્રેશનના વડા અને પોતાના કડક નિર્ણયો માટે જાણીતા આઈએએસ અધિકારી તુકારામ મુંઢેએ પાન મસાલા અને ગુટકાની સરોગેટ જાહેરાતો કરતા બોલિવૂડ સુપરસ્ટાર્સ સામે આકરું વલણ અપનાવ્યું છે. વિમલ ઈલાયચીની જાહેરાતને લઈને એફડીએ દ્વારા બોલિવૂડ અભિનેતા શાહરૂખ ખાન, અજય દેવગણ અને ટાઈગર શ્રોફને કારણદર્શક નોટિસ પાઠવવામાં આવી હતી. એક જાહેર કાર્યક્રમ દરમિયાન તુકારામ મુંઢેએ સેલિબ્રિટીઝના આ બેવડા ધોરણો પર આકરા પ્રહારો કરતા કહ્યું કે, જો તમાકુ-ગુટકા વાળી આ પ્રોડક્ટ્સ ખરેખર એટલી જ ઉત્તમ હોય તો એક્ટર્સે પોતે તે ખાવી જોઈએ અને પોતાના બાળકોને પણ તેનું સેવન કરાવવું જોઈએ.
તુકારામ મુંઢેએ કહ્યું કે, મને ચાપલૂસી બિલકુલ પસંદ નથી. બેવડી વિચારસરણી અને બે ચહેરા રાખનારા લોકો મને ક્યારેય પસંદ નથી આવતા. તમે જે કહો છો અને જે કામ કરો છો તેને લઈને જો પ્રમાણિક ન હો, તો તેનો અર્થ એ છે કે તમે સાચા માણસ નથી. તમે સમાજ સામે એક ચહેરો બતાવો છો અને વાસ્તવમાં બીજો ચહેરો રાખો છો. જો તમે જે વસ્તુની જાહેરાત કરી રહ્યા છો તે ખરેખર સારી છે, તો જાતે ખાવાનું શરૂ કરો. બીજાને કહેવાને બદલે પહેલાં પોતાનાથી શરૂઆત કરો.

તેમણે વધુમાં કહ્યું કે, જો જાહેરાતમાં દાવો કરવામાં આવતો હોય કે તેમાં કેસર છે, તો પહેલાં પોતાના પરિવારને તે ખાવા માટે કહો, ત્યારબાદ જ સામાન્ય જનતાને પ્રેરિત કરો. આરોગ્ય માટે હાનિકારક ચીજોની આડકતરી જાહેરાત કરવી માત્ર અનૈતિક જ નહીં, પરંતુ કાયદાકીય રીતે ગુનો પણ છે.

ઘણીવાર સેલિબ્રિટીઝ એવી દલીલ કરતા હોય છે કે એક્ટિંગ તેમનો વ્યવસાય છે અને તેઓ માત્ર પ્રોડક્ટનું શૂટિંગ કરીને પૈસા કમાઈ રહ્યા છે. આ દલીલને ફગાવતાં મુંઢેએ કહ્યું કે, તમે પણ આ સમાજનો જ હિસ્સો છો. તમે કોઈ ખોટી કે ઝેરી વસ્તુનો પ્રચાર કરીને એમ ન કહી શકો કે 'આ તો મારું કામ છે અને હું પૈસા કમાઉં છું.' જો આ જ તર્ક હોય, તો કાલે કોઈ અન્ય વ્યક્તિ ગેરકાયદે કામ કરીને પૈસા કમાશે તો શું તેને માન્ય ગણી લેવાશે? કરોડો યુવાનો જેમને પોતાના રોલ મોડેલ માને છે, તેવા કલાકારો સામાન્ય નાગરિકો કરતાં સમાજ પ્રત્યે વધુ જવાબદાર છે. તેઓ એવું કહીને બચી ન શકે કે બધી જવાબદારી ફક્ત કંપની કે પ્રોડ્યુસરની છે.

The most expensive part of a hospital bill may never touch the hospital at all.

A patient admitted for care has no way of knowing whether the price on a medical consumable reflects its actual cost or a markup fixed long before it ever reached the ward. That gap in information is, at its core, a public health issue.

A survey of hospital consumables in Maharashtra found an IV infusion set with a trade price of ₹11.05 carrying a printed MRP of ₹325 ; a markup of 2,841%. A syringe procured at ₹6.75 carried an MRP of ₹57.20. A catheter procured at ₹29.41 carried an MRP of ₹310.

These are not elective purchases. Patients cannot compare prices, seek alternatives, or question a number printed on a box while receiving care and the MRP itself is often fixed upstream by manufacturers and distributors, disconnected from the trade price by a wide, unexplained margin. The result is a system where the party bearing the cost has the least information to evaluate it.

The regulatory gap is structural: scheduled medicines are capped under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. Most medical devices and consumables are not leaving both the pricing and the information around it almost entirely unmonitored.

A review of these findings and clear guidelines on the permissible gap between trade procurement price and declared MRP have been recommended to the Department of Pharmaceuticals and the NPPA ; a step toward closing not just a pricing gap, but the information gap patients are left to bear alone.

It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to know n see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them.

I truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard n make their future and a greater, educated India. This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, n the students have done this peacefully. So courageous and brave. Driven and motivated towards education, this generation will make India proud.

This issue is between the students and the educational system, it should not be hijacked politically, the credit should only go to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them all the support n make it a stronger educational system. It’s a win-win situation. Hoping n praying for a positive decision. God bless all of you who wanna be educated.

Education should be the next trend and fashion, and should get trendier n more fashionable yr by yr, itna k bahar se log come to India to study and India becomes an educational hub.
