There is overwhelming evidence that the SPD should keep shrinking.
09/13 Seattle City Council will vote on midyear budget adjustments (CB 120112) that release $9.1 million to SPD, authorizing new SPD personnel and spending, @ a time when SPD's own data shows we don’t need em.

🚨Community Help Alert 🚨
We’re asking for community’s help raising funds for the full recovery of Soleil. Soleil is 2yrs old with a beautiful, fighting spirit. Hospitals are a familiar place for Soleil since she constantly has her health monitored.
Unfortunately, she has caught the flu severely and has went into respiratory distress. Currently, she is on life support, fighting for her life. This requires her mother, who is a single parent, to be at the hospital every single day.
→ We need Council to keep voting funds out of cop, court, and prosecutor budgets and into community hands. This won't happen without YOUR continued pressure.
Spread the word and mark your calendars!

Kanye West decision to wear a “White Lives Matter” shirt is disgusting, dangerous, and irresponsible. Some of y’all will rush to defend him. You should ask yourselves why…
