Comic book experts: was there ever a narrative in Superman where the general public actually believed Lex Luther was going to do something good for them, like giving out money to children...
or was that too silly for print?
The difference:
Fr. Martin: A priest who tries to interpret Catholic doctrine in a way that doesn’t result in a mass exodus of people from the Church due to bigotry and scandal
Fr. Ripperger: A priest who uses his platform to peddle conspiracy theories and political extremism
One of the small joys of running a gimmick account is that when someone follows you, you get like 10 notifications of [person] liked your post as they scroll through your account. Happy sunday y'all, hope CHVRCH was good this morning
Filipino Catholic priests, who are serving across the United States, will gather for the Fifth National Assembly of the National Association of Filipino Priests–USA in Northern California from November 3 to 6. The Assembly, focusing on priestly renewal, fraternity, and the mission of the Church, will take place at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, bringing together Filipino clergy for prayer, reflection, fellowship, and discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing priestly ministry today.
Drawing inspiration from the Biblical verse, “Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer” (Romans 12:12), the gathering aims to strengthen the spiritual lives and pastoral mission of Filipino priests serving various communities across the United States.
The program, which includes keynote presentations, Holy Mass, Eucharistic adoration, opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and breakout sessions addressing key aspects of priestly ministry, will have Cardinal Robert Walter McElroy, Archbishop of Washington, and Fr. Gerard Francisco Parco Timoner III, O.P., the 88th Master of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans), as keynote speakers. Sessions that explore spiritual fatherhood, preaching, intercultural relationships, and evangelizing younger generations in a digital and artificial intelligence-driven world will be other major attractions of the event.
Every time I see the colonized version of this I will re-upload the original, since you can no longer get the original in Twitter's GIF library, just the colonized version
The Diocese of Seoul in the Anglican Church of Korea has hosted the bishops’ meeting of the Council of Churches in East Asia (CCEA).
The CCEA gathers church leaders from Anglican traditions together every year, with member churches rotating the host role. This year, the meeting also invited bishops’ spouses to attend.
The Most Revd Jang-Whan Kim, Bishop of Seoul and Primate of the Anglican Church of Korea, shared, ‘There is an unbroken bond of affection as a family regardless of our theological differences and tensions. ...this is our way forward: to respect our differences as well as unite in our common mission in an East Asian context. ...we are unified as a church, as a family of God, as the Anglican body of Christ in this region’.

From the words of Paul...
"...judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time, each will receive his praise from God."
