@OUPAcademic@OUPAcademic - It says that I can't send you a private message. Other suggestions? We are using "An Introduction to Medicinal Chemistry, 7th edition" by Graham Patrick.
Hey @OUPAcademic - How do instructors gain access to the online tools for one of your texts? We were sold on your book for the copious extras and I've been trying for 6 weeks to find my rep and get access to the tools.
The front page of tomorrow's @dailytarheel –
I shed many tears while typing up these heart-wrenching text messages sent and received by UNC students yesterday. Our campus was on lockdown for more than three hours.
Beyond proud of this cover and the team behind it.
@SteveSpangler came to @HighPointU today to talk about STEM education and his career trajectory. Probably the most fun I’ve ever had at a seminar! And yes -I talked about it all at dinner!! #BestDayEver Thanks, Steve!
Back in June, I help my mom clean out her pool shed. There's a strand of old twinkle lights with plastic flamingos. "Throw them out," she says. "They don't work." But I see that the flamingos came off easily, so I start to pull them off. "I can do something with these."
@snickclunk Do you just leave the embryos on the plate and let them hatch after washing off gravid animals? We are bleaching gravid animals, but still having a hard time collecting enough embryos reliably to get enough animals in the end to run a full assay.
@snickclunk Trying to wash off embryos but there are some larvae and adults there too. We have a mutant that reproduces @ 16C - then trying to get the embryos isolated to let them hatch and grow until we use them in our assay.
@julieapollock Infection models - have an awesome sophomore that piloted and optimized this summer! We’ve got some interesting stuff!! Let’s schedule another zoom and we can show you.
@marykboyd We are at a PUI-students and faculty find the software easy to navigate. We have 2 carrels and use the auto sampler regularly. Really cannot say enough nice things about it after having used Varians and Brukers for most of my career.
@marykboyd On year 3 with our JEOL. Bruker would barely talk to us until our MRI was awarded. We went with JEOL and have never looked back. Fabulous customer service - limited wait times and came out several times to teach us how to do fills and maintenance.
@julieapollock@HighPointU The only thing more fun than getting to keep working with your grad school “bench buddy” is getting PAID to do it! 🤑 Thanks for elevating our project to the next level @julieapollock! Can’t wait to see where the science takes us next!!
