I got into Pokemon in 2016. My son was around 5 and I bought him a case of used cards on a local marketplace. He loved the characters and asked me if I would teach him to play. Since he could bot read or do math we used this as an opportunity to learn to to do both! Over the years he collected and played but stopped as a teen - thanks to him I really got into both playing the TCG and collecting :) Hopefully when he is a bit older he will wanna play with his old man again ;)
