@MoMohler There’s a Mad Dog and Englishman but I only went once because I felt $13 for a lunch plate of fish n chips was highway robbery for the late 90s..
@Tales_TimeLord Got to Kinda this past weekend. I wanted to watch them the way I did during the 80s when my local pbs affiliate aired whole series every Saturday night. Along with frequent telethons.. $300 donation could have gotten me the 12 foot long scarf..
@BlazeBinges In general, they were all good shows and did good job adapting the characters. But after 3 or 4 seasons of each, I started to pick up on a pattern and got bored. Legend of Tomorrow was an exception, that one was a lot of fun to watch through its entire run..
@MrGabeHernandez Honestly, I don't understand how their powers would make them immune to intoxication to begin with. If their blood is absorbing oxygen like humans, it'll surely absorb alcohol too..
@SarahisCensored I’m not offended by religious zealots preaching on the streets. Only when they’re shouting through a megaphone. Maybe it’s not disorderly conduct, but it’s certainly disturbing the peace..
@just00fanatic By the time Brosnan finally came onboard, the franchise was running out of steam and honestly, Bond was becoming an anachronism as a cold war era spy in a post-Soviet Union world of the 90s. The best thing for the franchise now is to reboot it back to the 60s..
@TheStingisBack I liked this one. It was to the Die Hard franchise what Ghost Protocol was to Mission Impossible. Unfortunately, the 5th Die Hard failed spectacularly to carry the momentum..
@Reeseforsure Except from the Houston Chronicles article. https://t.co/izcayEWPBz
It's not reading the bible every morning, it's specific foundational stories. Keyword "stories". No different than Grimm's fairy tales and Aesop's fables..
@Katie_Classique This is true, but she filled Wesley's spot on the bridge and we all know how useful Wesley was when he was a bridge officer.. She was destined to join the Maquis but TNG wasn't going to be part of the Cardassian/Bajoran conflict. Hence the DS9 role..
@DT2ComicsChat Lack of understanding the actual nature of the character was the real problem. The studios were more interested in a Jennifer Garner vehicle (since Alias was so popular) than actually producing a comics accurate Elektra story, something a PG-13 movie will never achieve..
