You're absolutely right about one thing: that the PTI has been in power for 13 years in KP. Besides that, here's a fact check with some context.

Structural gaps between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa long predate PTI rule.

The 1981 census literacy stood at 16.7% in NWFP versus 27.4% in Punjab; by the 1998 census it was 37.3% versus 47.4%.

Punjab’s larger population, canal-irrigated agriculture from the colonial period, along with it's larger industrial base, have produced higher baseline development for not just decades, but more if you were to include the pre-Partition period -- as Gazetted in two centuries of colonial rule.

Moreover, under the 7th NFC Award (in force since 2010), the divisible pool is allocated primarily by population (82% weight), giving Punjab ~51.74% and KP ~14.62% plus a 1% war-on-terror top-up; absolute transfers therefore favor Punjab regardless of provincial performance.⁠

But you seem to brush over the fact that while you were getting glow ups in London and Jeddah, KP absorbed the principal costs of the post-2001 insurgency and successive military operations. SATP data record 5,883 terrorism-related fatalities in the province in 2009 alone (when you were still raising those lovely children in Mayfair). 2014's Operation Zarb-e-Azb, launched in North Waziristan -- where your father never once went as PM to visit troops -- displaced approximately 930,000 people.

Considering you were probably concentrating on your studies at King Edwards during this period, maybe a reminder is in order. The "threat" that you don't feel from India, rather from KP, thanks to the TTP and its network, grew out of the 1980s Afghan mujahideen infrastructure that Pakistan Army's then Chief, Zia-ul-Haq -- your father's personal mentor and sponsor -- had supported.

As for your father's last dance, well, violence fell sharply after the 2014–2017 operations (to roughly 100–200 annual fatalities by 2017–2019). But Daddy had nothing to do with military planning or ops -- rather, your father was flying out emissaries to talk to the TTP (but in a helicopter, not a Gulfstream, just FYI). It was the Raheels and the Tariq Khans and the Amir Riazes and the Asim Bajwas -- a lot considerably more talented and tolerant than the current one, that was handling the fighting.

Yes, violence did rise again after 2021. But it was after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, compounded by your Daddy's handpicked Chief, Qamar Bajwa, resettling the Taliban back in KP.

As for your allegations about inks to terrorism, here's the best part: senior PTI leaders were repeatedly assassinated by TTP during the peak years.

Israrullah Khan Gandapur: Serving as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Law Minister for PTI, he was killed on October 16, 2013.

Sardar Ikramullah Khan Gandapur: Following his brother's assassination, Ikramullah won the vacated provincial assembly seat (PK-67) in a by-election and later served as the provincial Agriculture Minister. On July 22, 2018, just three days before the general elections, he was as targeted by a suicide bomber. By the way, this was the same election in which neither you nor Daddy could participate because both of you were convicted for hiding away billions in the Panama Papers case.

Malik Tariq Awan, Peshawari PTI leader -- Killed in 2022 in Peshawar.

Atif Munsif Khan, Abbottabad Tehsil Mayor -- Killed in 2023 along with nine others in an ambush on his vehicle.

Rehan Zaib Khan, PTI Youth Leader -- Killed in broad daylight in 2024 while campaigning for NA-8 in Bajaur for the General Elections that you and Daddy and Chachoo stole.

Also in the lead up to those elections -- Malik Sameen Khan, North Waziristani PTI leader and elder, targeted and killed by unidentified gunmen in North Watziristan.

Look up these names. And think again about what you accuse the PTI of.

As for the “13 years of incompetence” framing, you omit federal responsibility for external and internal security, the costs of the 2018 FATA merger, and the fact that the steepest decline in KP violence coincided with early PTI provincial government plus large-scale military action.

Yes, Aunty: Terrorism actually dipped under Imran Khan's government. At least till your "Saada Chief" Bajwa didn't let the wolves back in post the US-pullout.

As for recent attack numbers that you love to cite, (PIPS: 111 in 2021 rising to 413 in 2025), remember that you track the post-2021 resurgence rather than a simple linear record of provincial governance.

If you've made it this far Aunty, here's the simplest part.

The KP's hard times didn't start under Imran.

But I can guarantee that they will not improve under you or your Daddy's illegal administration.

Having failed to secure Balochistan or Azad Kashmir, Munir once again invokes terrorism to justify another military operation in Pashtun lands. Yet again sacrificing lives in an attempt to cling on to power.

مزاکراتی کمیٹی کو میرا بھیجا گیا ڈرافٹ یہ ہے جسے میں اپنی قوم کے سامنے رکھ رہا ہوں۔ پوری قوم کو یہ علم ہونا چاہئیے کہ ان میں سے ایک ڈیمانڈ بھی غیر آئینی و قانونی نہیں ہے۔ ہمیں دوسرے درجے کا شہری سمجھا جا رہا ہے۔ ہمارے ساتھ ریاست ہر قابض لوگ سوتیلی ماں جیسا سلوک کر رہی ہے۔ یہ ہمارے ڈیمانڈز تھے، ہیں اور رہیں گے۔

ملک میں سیاسی استحکام، آئین و قانون کی بالادستی، جمہوری عمل کے تسلسل، قومی یکجہتی، امن و امان کے قیام اور تمام سیاسی و قومی معاملات کو باہمی مشاورت اور مذاکرات کے ذریعے حل کرنے کے لیے درج ذیل امور پر اتفاقِ رائے کیا جائے گا:

1۔وزیرِ اعظم پاکستان اور دونوں ایوانوں میں قائدینِ حزبِ اختلاف کے درمیان باقاعدہ ملاقات کا اہتمام کیا جائے گا، جس میں ملک کو درپیش تمام اہم سیاسی، قومی، آئینی، قانونی اور جمہوری معاملات، بالخصوص زیرِ التوا امور، پر تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا جائے گا۔

فریقین اس امر کے پابند ہوں گے کہ باہمی مشاورت اور مذاکرات کے ذریعے مذکورہ امور کے حل کے لیے دو ماہ کے اندر مؤثر اور قابلِ عمل پیش رفت یقینی بنائی جائے۔

2۔وزیرِ اعظم پاکستان حکومتی اتحاد، پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی اور اپوزیشن جماعتوں کے نمائندگان پر مشتمل ایک مشترکہ سیاسی مذاکراتی کمیٹی تشکیل دیں گے۔

یہ کمیٹی اپوزیشن کے ساتھ قومی و سیاسی معاملات، باہمی اختلافات اور دیگر اہم امور پر مسلسل مذاکرات کرے گی اور باہمی اتفاقِ رائے سے قابلِ عمل حل تلاش کرے گی۔ جمہوریت، سیاست، عدالت اور صحافت کی مکمل آزادی ہوگی۔

کمیٹی اپنے قیام کے بعد ایک ماہ کے اندر مذاکرات اور حل کے حوالے سے قابلِ ذکر پیش رفت یقینی بنائے گی اور اپنی سفارشات متعلقہ قیادت کے سامنے پیش کرے گی۔

3۔ جیل مینول، آئینِ پاکستان اور مروجہ قوانین کے مطابق عمران خان اور بشریٰ بی بی کو حاصل تمام قانونی، انسانی اور طبی حقوق بلاامتیاز فراہم کیے جائیں گے۔

ان کے علاج و معالجے کے سلسلے میں، جہاں قانوناً قابلِ اطلاق ہو، ان کے ذاتی/نامزد ڈاکٹروں کی طبی رائے، ہدایات اور مشوروں کو مدِنظر رکھتے ہوئے ضروری طبی سہولیات اور علاج معالجے کی فراہمی یقینی بنائی جائے گی۔

4۔جیل مینول اور متعلقہ قوانین کے مطابق عمران خان اور بشریٰ بی بی کو اپنے اہلِ خانہ، نامزد وکلاء اور مجاز/نامزد رفقاء سے ملاقات کا حق فراہم کیا جائے گا۔

ملاقاتوں کا انعقاد قانون اور جیل قواعد و ضوابط کے مطابق ہوگا۔ تاہم ملاقات کی سہولت کو کسی بھی فریق کی جانب سے ایسے سیاسی یا دیگر مقاصد کے لیے استعمال نہیں کیا جائے گا جو قانوناً ممنوع ہوں۔

5۔عمران خان، بشریٰ بی بی، خواتین، معمر اور بیمار قیدیوں سمیت تمام زیرِ حراست افراد کی جانب سے سزاؤں کے خلاف دائر درخواستوں اور دیگر قانونی درخواستوں پر آئین و قانون کے مطابق دس دن کے اندر غور کا عمل شروع/مکمل کیا جائے گا، جہاں قانوناً ایسا ممکن ہو۔

تمام مقدمات کا فیصلہ متعلقہ عدالتیں اور قانونی فورمز آئین، قانون، شفاف عدالتی طریقۂ کار اور انصاف کے اصولوں کے مطابق، بلاجواز تاخیر کے بغیر، کریں گے۔
خواتین جو سیاسی قید کاٹ رہی ہیں جن میں بزرگ یاسمین راشد اور بشری بی بی سرفہرست ہے اُن کو انسانی ہمدردی دکھاتے ہوئے جلد رہا کیا جائے۔

6۔خیبر پختونخوا میں جاری دہشت گردی کے خاتمے، عوام کے جان و مال کے تحفظ اور مستقل و پائیدار امن کے قیام کے لیے وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتوں کے درمیان مؤثر، مسلسل اور بامعنی مشاورت کو یقینی بنایا جائے گا۔

اس مقصد کے لیے موجودہ پالیسیوں اور اقدامات کا باقاعدہ جائزہ لیا جائے گا اور ضرورت کے مطابق ان میں مناسب ترامیم کی جائیں گی۔

وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومت کے مجاز نمائندگان 72 گھنٹوں کے اندر باقاعدہ اجلاس منعقد کرکے باہمی مشاورت سے امن و امان کے قیام کے لیے ایک واضح، جامع اور قابلِ عمل حکمتِ عملی مرتب کریں گے۔

اس حکمتِ عملی پر آئین و قانون کے دائرۂ کار میں رہتے ہوئے عمل درآمد وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتوں کی مشترکہ ذمہ داری ہوگی۔

7۔ وفاقی حکومت کی جانب سے مذکورہ بالا یقین دہانیوں اور طے شدہ اقدامات پر مؤثر عمل درآمد کی تحریری یقین دہانی کے بعد پاکستان تحریکِ انصاف موجودہ لانگ مارچ کو منسوخ کرنے کا اعلان کرے گی۔

تاہم اگر وفاقی حکومت طے شدہ یقین دہانیوں، مذاکراتی عمل یا آئینی و قانونی تقاضوں کی خلاف ورزی کرے یا مذاکراتی عمل کو بلاجواز تعطل کا شکار کرے تو پاکستان تحریکِ انصاف آئین و قانون کے مطابق اپنے پُرامن، جمہوری اور قانونی احتجاج کے حق کو محفوظ رکھے گی۔

“Never in the history of Pakistan has any political leader been subjected to the treatment that I am currently enduring. Nawaz Sharif committed corruption worth billions and was nevertheless granted every possible comfort in prison. In contrast, never before has the innocent and apolitical spouse of a political figure been imprisoned under such inhumane conditions as those imposed upon Bushra Bibi.

I am enduring the harshest prison term in the country’s history solely for the supremacy of the Constitution and in service of my nation. The level of oppression and authoritarianism is such that even the water I have for ablution is filthy and contaminated with dirt, unfit for any human being. Books sent to me by my family have been withheld for months. Access to television and newspapers has also been suspended. I have spent countless hours re-reading the same old books, but now even those are no longer available.

All my basic human rights have been violated. Even the minimum facilities accorded to ordinary prisoners under the law and the jail manual are denied to me. Despite repeated requests, I have not been allowed to speak to my children. Political meetings have also been restricted; I am only permitted to meet certain ‘choice individuals’, while all other interactions are barred.

I am waging a battle against a 78-year-old system, and my greatest success is that despite unprecedented oppression, the public stands firmly with me.

On February 8th (2024), the people expressed their trust in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf by voting for you even in the absence of an electoral symbol. After such a clear mandate, it is the moral and political responsibility of every party member to become the voice of the people. It will be nothing short of disgraceful and condemnable if PTI leaders waste time on internal conflicts at this critical juncture. Anyone found engaging in factionalism within the party will be expelled. I am fighting for the future of our generations, and every sacrifice I make is for that cause. To create rifts within the party at this time would be a direct betrayal of my mission and vision.

The so-called government formed through Form 47 has crippled the judiciary through the 26th Constitutional Amendment. The way biased judges are now delivering blatantly unjust verdicts under these courts is visible to the entire nation. We must launch a robust campaign to liberate the judiciary, for no nation can survive, let alone progress, without judicial independence.”

“When a nation rises for its rights, no force on earth can suppress it. I remain a free man, even in jail, but my nation is trapped in a prison where there is no independent judiciary, no genuine democracy, and no free media. Every Pakistani must rise up for their true freedom!

For two years, I have remained imprisoned solely for the sake of the Pakistani nation, so that no one can enslave you. Now, the time has come for you to stand up for your own freedom and defeat this oppressive system.

I repeatedly called for dialogue in the best interest of the country. But the time for negotiations has now passed. After the 26th Constitutional Amendment, the rule of law, the Constitution, and the very concept of justice have been buried. Any hope of receiving justice from the courts has been completely extinguished. The Pakistani nation now has only one path forward: a nationwide protest movement. Nothing short of this can pull us out of this quagmire of lawlessness.

A complete roadmap for the nationwide movement will be announced this week. I will have completed two full years of unjust imprisonment on August 5th. One that very day our nationwide protest campaign will be at its peak.

There will be no further negotiations of any kind with anyone anymore! The only path forward is mass protest in the streets, so the nation can rid itself of the puppets forcibly imposed upon it as its rulers.

Let me be clear: any officeholder in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf who cannot shoulder the weight of this movement should step aside immediately. Those who have submitted to these oppressors must remember: these very people will eventually crush you, and the people will never forgive you either.

Even leaders like Nelson Mandela and Gandhi were allowed to meet other prisoners, read books, and write. I am enduring a form of solitary confinement where I am locked for 22 hours a day in a 6x8 foot cell. Police officers are forbidden from speaking to me. I have been denied books for the past six months. I am not allowed to speak to my children. My lawyers and colleagues cannot visit me. My family is allowed only a few minutes of visitation each week, and many of them are often denied even that. My personal physician has not been allowed to examine me for the past ten months. Even my access to newspapers and television has been cut off for the last week. Books sent by my family are withheld and kept in the superintendent’s office. My wife is also being held in inhumane conditions in solitary confinement.

Behind all of this is the establishment and its pawns. All of this is being done to break me. But I will continue to stand against tyranny until my very last breath.

We restored the constitutional and legal rights of the tribal areas after decades and provided full resources for reconstruction and development. The current regime not only withheld their rightful funds for three years but is now actively working to roll back their constitutional rights, an action that is utterly condemnable. I commend our parliamentarians and representatives for boycotting these unlawful measures.

As for our Punjab MPAs who were suspended for protesting during the fraudulent government’s budget session, the real reason behind it was that their protest against Maryam Nawaz was intolerable for the regime, although it is a long-standing tradition to protest during budget sessions.”

پاکستان کی بنیاد “لا الہ الا اللہ” ہے- یہ کلمہ انسان کو ہر قسم کی غلامی سے آزادی دیتا ہے- پاکستان کو بڑی قربانیاں دے کر انگریز سے آزاد کروایا گیا تاکہ ایک ایسا ملک بنے جہاں ہر شہری کو شخصی آزادی حاصل ہو- مگر یہاں حالات بالکل برعکس ہیں اور ایک مافیا پوری قوم کو غلامی میں مبتلا رکھنا چاہتا ہے۔ میں جیل کی کال کوٹھڑی میں رہ لوں گا لیکن غلامی قبول نہیں کروں گا۔ میرا تمام لوگوں کو پیغام ہے کہ سب کو ایسی غلامی پر قید کو ترجیح دینی چاہیئے کیونکہ جب ہم باہر آزاد ہی نہیں ہیں تو پھر ایسی رہائی کا کیا فائدہ؟ علامہ اقبال کا شاہین اونچا اڑتا ہے، وہ کسی کا غلام بن کر نہیں رہتا-

پوری قوم خصوصاً تحریک انصاف کے ورکرز اور سپورٹرز کو پیغام دیتا ہوں کہ ملک میں جاری ظلم کے نظام کے خلاف تحریک کا آغاز کریں۔ میرے لیے اس غلامی کے نظام کو قبول کرنے سے بہتر موت ہے۔

میری آواز ہر طرح سے دبائی جا رہی ہے تا کہ لوگوں تک میرا پیغام نہ پہنچ سکے اور جبر کے خلاف کوئی کھڑا ہونے والا نہ بچے۔ لیکن میں آخری سانس تک ظلم کے خلاف کھڑا رہوں گا- اور میرا اپنے رب پر یقین ہے کہ پاکستان سے ظلم کا سایہ جلد ختم ہو گا-

جمہوریت میں چار چیزوں کی بہت اہمیت ہوتی ہے: ووٹ کا حق، قانون کی حکمرانی، اخلاقیات اور آزاد میڈیا- چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم نے ان چاروں کو ختم کر کے رکھ دیا ہے-

۱: ووٹ کا حق: جب ایک ڈکٹیٹر آتا ہے تو اسے ووٹ کی ضرورت نہیں ہوتی تو وہ ڈنڈے کے زور پر ملک چلاتا ہے- جس طرح فارم 47 والی اسمبلیاں بنائی گئیں اور اب مخصوص نشستیں بانٹی گئیں اس سے عوام کو یہ احساس دلایا گیا ہے کہ ان کے ووٹ کی کوئی اہمیت نہیں ہے۔

۲: قانون کی حکمرانی: عدلیہ کو حکومت کے ایک ذیلی محکمے میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا ہے۔ عدالتیں اپنی مرضی کے ججز سے بھر دی گئی ہیں اور آزاد ججز کے ہاتھ پاؤں باندھ دئیے گئے ہیں- ایسا صرف مارشل لاء میں ہی ہوتا ہے۔

۳: معاشرے کی اخلاقیات: اس ترمیم سے معاشرے میں اخلاقیات دفن کر دی گئی ہیں۔ اسمبلیوں میں ایسے لوگ بٹھا دئیے گئے ہیں جو عوام کے منتخب نمائندے نہیں ہیں- ارکان اسمبلی کی کھلے عام خرید و فروخت جاری ہے- اور عدلیہ بھی اسی مافیا کے انگوٹھے کے نیچے ہے-

۴: آزاد میڈیا: ڈکٹیٹرشپ میں میڈیا کو مکمل طور پر زنجیروں میں جکڑ دیا گیا ہے۔ آزادی اظہار رائے پر مکمل پابندی عائد ہے۔ آزاد صحافیوں کو نشانہ بنایا جا رہا ہے اور باقیوں کو خرید لیا گیا ہے-
