@jmik_nyc @flybladenow We always attempt to fly the advertised route, but several factors may affect our ability to do so. When this happens, we work with Air Traffic Controllers & the FAA to determine the next-best route and the highest altitude that would be safe to fly at, to reduce noise overhead.
Today Joby & Volocopter flight tested their EVA (or eVTOL) in NYC, highlighting the progress made toward FAA certification and reinforcing our ability to accelerate our transition from helicopters to EVA for our Passenger and Medical businesses. $BLDE https://t.co/mDFQlxSDL1
@jmik_nyc @Adrian_Benepe @CloseKHTO@flybladenow@JFKairport@NYCEDC@HudsonRiverPark@StoptheChopNYNJ@BKBPReynoso Several factors may affect our flight paths. All BLADE flights follow FAA outlined noise abatement routes, informed by landing patterns at JFK and LaGuardia. Pilots fly at an altitude determined by the Air Traffic Controller, taking into account air traffic and other factors.

@BanTheHellies Like so many companies in NY, our business was impacted by the pandemic & lockdowns. We received a PPP loan in April '20 in the principal amount of $1.2M which we used to help sustain our employee payroll costs & rent. In May '21, just 13 months later, we repaid the loan in full.
