@thefarmerslife I have a JD 7210 with a loader and a Kubota M7-152 with a loader as well. Kubota is nice for running around at 27 mph and loading etc. fairly simple machine electronics wise which I liked also. 7210 feels like I’m crawling anymore using it
@bluecowboy99@garrett_wolf3 I’m always wanted to try that with mine, usually move cows by myself and 95% follow but always a couple stragglers. Figured the drone would be handy to trail them but never tried it
@ne_rancher211 I shipped a bunch of hay to Wyoming 7-8 hours away that left my place at 6k+ per load in the field. Can’t imagine how that works on the receiving end
@ne_rancher211 Yeah that’s definitely not fun. We can manage a drought here pretty well thankfully, but haven’t really had one terrible in awhile. Just gotta worry about fires starting then
@ne_rancher211 No that’s fair, our ground is so low here the water table is just a few feet under the surface on a dry year. We get any kinda moisture and can’t get anything accomplished, just rut things up and get stuck to put up wet grinding hay
@ne_rancher211 We’ve just been catching small ones while the 2-5” rains have been missing us until this one. Probably wouldn’t have a bale up if we got this a month ago, I’ll take drought over wet any day but neither are fun
@ne_rancher211 I’m in North Central NE, we started out the same way and then haven’t missed much for rains since the start of July, SE of me
30 miles is all under water we just got 3” last night and flooded us again.
@ZachVanWesten We missed it. Thankfully, we’re not far from being under water again. The forecast the last two days but we got maybe .05”. I still feel your pain.
