“Being heard is so close to being loved that most people cannot tell the difference.”
Good listening is a powerful but waning practice.

Simply astounding that God knows all the stars by name (Isaiah 40:26). He didn’t just create them. He *named* them.
This implies not just power, but care. And amazing creativity. Just think about how many unique names are floating around in the divine mind!
When the pain of this life feels overwhelming, it is comforting to remember that future resurrection can heal and redeem all sorrow. In Christ our suffering will not merely end, but be turned to glory.
Our weakness + Christ’s strength = perfect safety
Held in the hands of the Father and Son, our weakness poses no threat to our security.
Thank you, @daneortlund, for the encouraging sermon today on John 10.
"All my springs [*mayan*] are in you" (Psalm 87:7).
mayan = fountain, spring of water; water source
Everything in my life that is life-giving, to me or others, all that nourishes and causes flourishing, all that creates inherently multiplying blessing and fullness, is in God.
