Might be partly where collective bargaining comes in? Players should want this too. Make schools on cusp evaluate their competitiveness and ROI. Big schools will always spend. But mid major schools might spend more in this model to retain revenue. There needs to be structure.

All these anti G6 takes are saying G6 doesn’t belong because of talent. Maybe we need to fix the parity of college football and not the CFP. I believe G6 belongs, but I do know the gap between G6, mid P4 and the top 5 of the CFP continues to widen in a negative way for the sport.
