@CentroLeaks A villain will try to use pokemon (maybe legendaries) in order to generate infinite energy or something. They will abuse the winds or waves generated by pokemon to do so. (2/2)
@CentroLeaks After seeing the first two structures (Windmill and something like a hydroelectric plant) and the capital Omega (the symbol for electrical resistance), I believe the main conflict will be about energy use. (1/2)
Keith Porter Jr’s death isn’t getting much media attention.
His shooting wasn’t caught on video.
An off duty ICE agent shot and killed him on New Years Eve.
That’s two US citizens killed by ICE in two weeks. Not to mention more than 30 people dying in camps.
This morning, an ICE agent murdered a woman in Minneapolis—only the latest horror in a year full of cruelty.
As ICE attacks our neighbors across America, it is an attack on us all. New York stands with immigrants today, and every day that follows.
New study in BMC Immunology shows that COVID-19 leaves a lasting “aka Long Covid” imprint in the immune cells of older adults. What does that mean - and why does it matter?🧵
“It’s just a cold” I don’t want that either, thanks
“It’s just the flu” I don’t want that either, thanks
“It’s just norovirus” I don’t want that either, thanks
Just because you think your sickness is no big deal doesn’t mean it isn’t one for others.
COVID didn’t end - it changed the baseline of how often people fall ill, miss work, and drop out of the labor force. A new JAMA study shows the US now lives in a permanent flu-season mode, all year round🧵

I have posted my paper (w/ @MarisaEisenberg ) "A Dynamic Model of Integration" on arxiv. This is an adaptation of the standard Schelling Model for segregation. See the paper here https://t.co/e1WZZsT5HA (I'll add details about the paper either later today or tomorrow)
and if they are in an area that is super dissimilar to itself (compared to their normal tolerance) they will want an area that has more of their own representation. I don't know if I did a good job there, but here is a table.
@Mrs_Meowmerz And the technique used and cite those as a potential direction(s) that you would like to take your future work.
As per the topics, something as simple as "mathematical biology" in Google scholar might be a decent start to see what is out there.
@Mrs_Meowmerz I would think about what applications interest you. Then I would go over to Google scholar and find some highly cited works and read their abstracts to see what they did. If it seemed cool then I would write down the techniques used and I would point to the papers you found..
