Have any wheelchair users participated in Jouvert, Holi Festival? Basically anything involving paint and powder. If so how did you clean your chair or keep it safe from getting stuff on it? (Pls rt)

With cold weather, it brings space heaters. They CANNOT be plugged into power strips or extension cords.

Plug space heaters directly into the wall outlet.

Power bars are not designed to handle the high current flow required by a space heater and can overheat causing a fire.

As a disabled person, I use identity-first language.
If other disabled people want to use person-first language and call themselves “people with disabilities,” that’s fine.
When a nondisabled person “corrects” me for identifying as a disabled person, that’s not fine.
