Old head millennial here. Couldn’t agree more. No medication. No accommodations. Always told “he’s one of the smartest kids in the class but doesn’t apply himself.” Grades were terrible. Didn’t go to college. Floated around working shit jobs until I was 32. Then I found out I had adhd, still didn’t take meds but at least I knew how my brain works. Eventually got a corporate gig and now I’m doing really well. We never gave up and just keep pushing cause what choice did we have?

Born and raised in the South Bay. It just depends on who you interact with. Tons of multi-generational people that live here who aren’t engineers/VCs/etc. It’s about where you hang out. If you’re in Palo Alto/Mt View/SF/Peninsula, that’s what you’ll encounter. SJ still has the OGs.
