Why is there only one British politician speaking the language of morality and international law at the moment?
History has proved him right on every major international crisis over the past several decades. He'll be proved right once more
After my resignation yesterday I received this tone deaf message from someone in Keir Starmer's team, without even a proper apology.
If the official Party line is as they claim why won't the Leader of the party publicly apologise for his comments and say as much?
Key members have written a letter with their utter disappointment at how the city is being run. They all feel that the Tory councillors are actually doing it right. We’ll be discussing this next at our branch meeting.
@manishparmar@CityMayorLeic@labour@OweniteAdam Our branch has been badly affected. We are sad to report that 27 members have stopped their membership subscriptions or cancelled their membership so far. We are trying to ascertain the reason.

Thank you @AfricannetworkL for a truly gentle and peaceful gathering with a two minutes silence and lighting of candles right here in #Leicester to highlight the fight against racism, discrimination, biases and prejudices. And thank you @ashac_patel for this great coverage.
Wow! A big 100th Happy Birthday to Edgar Matthews today. He has been our longest serving member in #BeaumontLeys. Really great to see him still so active. He has served the country well - we salute him. Have a great one!!! 🎂
Delighted to share good news that all three of our local candidates Hemant Bhatia, Vi Dempster and Paul Westley have won the council election for #BeaumontLeys. And big congratulations to @CityMayorLeic and all other candidates who won across the city. Hard work continues.
100% of our ward covered, all leaflets and letters delivered, great response to #LabourDoorstep throughout and fantastic response at school gates in last few days. Tomorrow we’ll remind the residents to go out and vote because #BeaumontLeys matters. #VoteLabour
Our long standing demand to build a proper database of #BAME membership is finally taking place. Check your email and do participate in this survey by providing your details accurately. Thank you @JennieGenSec and to all members who have campaigned relentlessly for this.
@Danjamesmartin Let me reassure all residents of Copeland Avenue and surrounding parts which fall in #BeaumontLeys that this is just an idea floated by someone and not council’s plan. We will do everything to support the residents and not allow anything that’s detrimental to them. Period.
Important and in demand police resources can also be freed up to be where they are needed by restorative justice initiatives run by trained local community organisations. Fully support that.
Certainly more CCTV cameras required to aid collecting evidence and help the police. They are doing a great job anyway, as best with limited resources. Residents want to live in a crime free neighbourhood. More police presence supported by tougher penalties as deterrent needed.
Great #LabourDoorstep in #BeaumontLeys today. Delighted with such a positive response from the residents. Thank you to everyone who came to support us.
After a successful Community Open Day event in #BeaumontLeys earlier, @pa_housing are organising another fantastic February Half Term fun filled free event for kids at @BeaumontLeysSch. I’m sure many kids from the area will make the best use of it. Please spread the word.
