to the old lady who was complaining my boobs touched her when I got off the subway:
I am no Harry Potter to go through the column next to you, and if you stand in the door people will walk into you
Walking home from work in a terrible mood after office drama, in a random suburb, wearing a denim jacket with J-Hope on the back.
A man taps my shoulder.
Him: “Excuse me… are you a BTS fan?”
I looked at him suspicious because this man was easily like 6 feet tall and in my head I was immediately like:
I don’t care how tall you are and built like a wardrobe, if you’re about to disrespect BTS and make fun of me, I will have to bite you in broad daylight and send you into the La Seine.
So I go:“…yes? why?”
Then he goes:“Do you know where I can get tickets?”
I just stared at him.Because suddenly the energy shifted.
So I ask:“For you?”
He says yes.
I ask:“You’re a fan?”
He says:“Yes, since the new album.”
Sir?! This is an insane thing to say in a suburban street with cars passing!
Then he starts softly fangirling about the album, how insane the show looks on IG and how much he wants to go.
So now I’m standing on a random sidewalk giving a full BTS briefing to a man I was mentally preparing to body slam 30 seconds earlier.
Suddenly I’m not suspicious anymore. I’m just a weary ARMY auntie calmly directing this 6ft newborn ARMY to BTS Ticket Helper..
Anyway I thought I was about to defend BTS honor.
Turns out I was just helping a giant fanboy.😇💜
What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.
33, no kids, single, CEO, rich, hot, world wide handsome, successful, multi talented, can cook, have 363673839339 side hustles, unproblematic, 100% my type.
The first weekend I dropped the kids off at my in-laws' without my husband, something quietly shifted in how I saw family. As I prepared to leave, my father-in-law did what he’d always done for his son, he looked at me and said, “Let’s go fill up your tank.” I quickly told him I’d already done it on the way there, hoping to avoid the offer. He gently but firmly replied, “Never do that again.”
Since then, I’ve come to understand that…
the current state of society is not capable of accepting women as equals
while ppl with a bit of (emotional) intelligence can and will treat women as equals, unfortunately most of them are not capable to do so bc it's been accepted for so long to treat women as less
