Last night I went to visit my brother, who despite getting me into destiny in the first place hasn't played it in years.

Walked in to find him on the couch showing off his titan fashion to his girlfriend in the middle of running a legendary campaign mission.

My goat is back.

The Destiny 2 Collection art was a fun final Key Art project to work on for @DestinyTheGame.

Our goal was straightforward: to showcase iconic armor and imagery that felt representative of the Destiny 2 franchise, while maintaining a strong compositional connection to the original Destiny Collection poster I created for GameStop in 2016. At the same time, we pushed the lighting and tone in a moodier direction to better reflect the brand and the narrative journey we've been on throughout Destiny 2's lifetime.

The final piece was built using a blend of high-resolution renders and in-game captures that I custom lit and posed before painting over them to enhance clarity, lighting, and overall visual impact.

None of it would have been possible without the incredible foundational source art from @Bungie’s Concept, Skybox, 3D Character, and Hard Surface teams.

I think the #WeWantDestiny3 movement is less about D3 specifically, and more about the continuation of the Destiny IP, with which D3 makes the most sense. It’s about rallying the community together to show Sony there is both demand and loyalty backing Destiny’s future.
