@FinalWrangler I don't think the complaint is that living requires the consumption of resources but that people are forced to pay for access to things that are essential to living, regardless of how widely available that thing is.
@vptharp@OnDisasters yeah a bomber that flies at mach 3 and costs hundreds of millions per aircraft is probably not preferable to a bomber that is 1/10 the cost. a bomber will never be as fast as a missile, why waste resources trying to achieve it.
@OldMackIsBack@theyondan Have you heard of the MQ-9 or literally any other recon drone ? That is what is being distinguished when people talk about suicide drones.
@arefinayonn@Rebel44CZ if russia was a top tier air power, Ukraine wouldn't have an air force, yet they still operate dozens of old aircraft on combat missions daily.
@Decanvs@corsair21c well the iranian strikes are hitting things like bases and facilities, localised targets. US/israel are doing wider operations and hunting for TELS so they naturally occur across a wider area.
@dmaccc____ @blakandblack Do you think the british flag and some stars accurately represent the history and cultures of people that existed in that land for thousands of years beforehand? Why would the other flags exist if one already represents them?
@dmaccc____ @blakandblack The UK is not Australia. The Australian flag does not include either of the Aboriginal or Torres Strait designs. The entire point of a flag is representation of the people, and the Australian flag represents no one but white australians, hence the existence of the other two.
@dmaccc____ @blakandblack The Australian national flag quite obviously does not represent every Australian, otherwise the Aboriginal and Torres Strait flags wouldn't exist. They are more representative of the major groups of Australia.
